I used to live in a place managed by this company. They told me that the utility company would take care of everything when I moved out, but that wasn't true. The gas meter was inside the house, so the gas company wouldn't close my account until they could get in. But the landlord and the management company wouldn't let them in. So now I have to pay extra fees. The lease ended on May 31. They told me in the move-out instructions that I had to keep paying for utilities until the end of the lease.
