Generator Supercenter of Fort Myers

We bought a generator from Lowe's on 5/15 and Generator Supercenter was supposed to install it by 8/15. We gave them our HOA paperwork on 5/21 and had to keep reminding them to complete it. They finally gave it back to us on 7/28, 9 weeks later. We had 3 different reps from Generator Supercenter come to our house at different times to figure out how to install it. This caused delays. On 7/24, Grant S., the President of the SWFL location, emailed me saying that the project would take 2-4 weeks longer than originally discussed. We had a pleasant email exchange about the paperwork and installation until 7/30. Since then, he and the company have not responded to my emails sent on 8/19, 8/24, and 9/4. They also haven't returned my phone messages. The permits for Collier County, Florida were not obtained until 8/26 and one for electrical work was not approved because of an 'invalid license,' causing more delays. It was finally approved on 9/4. Today is 9/16 and we still haven't heard anything for over 45 days, which is 30 days past our original date and even past the revised date mentioned on 7/24. It seems like the company got overwhelmed with work from Lowe's. While mistakes happen in business, the lack of communication from them is unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend doing business with this location.
