Horrible dorming experience
I went to Bay State College for Fashion Merchandising and its a really close knit community. While I don't have any problems with the school itself, and classes, its the dorms. They are absolutely HORRIBLE! First off, at $12k a year for what I'm getting, I could be getting a lot more. They cram 4 people in a tiny 15 x 10 room with barely enough room to move. The buildings are old and dated, and there's a lack of proper fire safety and escape routes. There are NO elevators for 6 flights of stairs. The rooms are musty and old and there is a lack of working technology. 9 out of 10 times, the Internet doesn't work and when it does, its slow and unusable. Also, I'm an Xbox 360 user and they DONT allow only gaming! Everything needs and upgrade and their technology isn't even usable. Their IT team is clearly incompetent, they "fix" the issue and it comes right back in a matter of hours. If I were you, I'd STAY CLEAR FROM THE DORMS and rent an apartment near.
