Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Delivery of appliance for Lowes in GA

Today the product to be delivered and due to two cancelations had to deliver early. The driver was rude and said he wanted to go home but had to deliver our appliance. I asked for another 15 minutes and he became angry on the phone so had someone in place early (the time was to be 3-7 pm and this was noon) and when he arrived he claimed to not be able to install due to a cutoff valve not being in close proximity to the refrigerator. This is a 3000 sf house and the cutoff is downstairs and shouldn't have been a problem. He spoke harshly to the house keeper and the owner of the management company claiming "he would not answer questions or speak with her" and her company has 65 cabins in North Georgia. She will never shop at Lowes in Ellijay again. I am cancelling the flooring I was going to buy, and will also not shop at Lowes again. This is because they farm out delivery to companies that do not screen employees well enough. The "driver" was said to be named Brittany, but I doubt it as it was a male who refused to identify himself over the phone with the customer (me) and then decided he would not install the unit. Please screen employees better! This wasn't one disgruntled business owner. By the way, we were on text and I told him I would contact his employers and he sent me an "okay" sign. So here we are.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Oven ordered from lowes

We ordered a oven that was to be delivered today. We have stayed home all day. Lowes told us the latest it would be here is 10pm. I made several attempts to call the number Lowes gave us. [protected]. We called numerous times and had to hold and each time we got to one caller ahead the call would disconnect. I made 3 calls to the Lowe's location. I thought having it delivered would make it easier. I regret not picking it up myself. We already took our other oven out in preparation for this. I'm am furious.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Delivery

We purchased a refrigerator from Lowes and your company called to deliver it. They put the refrigerator on the porch and told my parents that they would not be able to install it until they had a shut off valve installed. They would come back out and install it when the valve was installed. They already had a valve behind their washer. They were told not to move the refrigerator or it would void the warranty. I called to get it installed and was told I would get a call back in 24 hours to have it installed. Afraid of theft I called Lowes and told them what the delivery driver said about the warranty being voided if we moved it inside and was told we could install it ourselves if we wanted that the warranty would not be voided! My 82 year old father and my husband had to move it and install it themselves! Lowes has tried to get something accomplished in this and was told by your company that I told them to put it under the carport. They don’t have a carport! I wanted it installed not put under a carport for my dad to install it! They could have hurt themselves! Very incompetent company! still have not had a call back!

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Washer

We purchased a washer from lowes. Huntsville al in hampton cove. We had already gone to weeks without. I have my mother who is disabled. My father works for the government. My brother who works for the state my baby here. My mother been laying in urine towels cause I cannot wash. I cannot buy anymore cause I purchased the washer few days ago. Please I need my washer delivered to monte sano they told me it was spirit was to deliver next day its been 5 days since purchase. We have not even gotten a phone call. So much for next day.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Damage to my refrigerator when removing old gas stove during delivery of appliances purchased from Home Depot.

On June 17, 2022, delivery persons from Spirit Delivery dented my new refrigerator in the process of removing the old gas stove. Two dents were created during the move. The refrigerator was purchased from Lowes and had been delivered a week before the Home Depot delivery. I informed the lead delivery person that his associates had dented the refrigerator. He apologized and instructed us to call his boss and they would take care of it. I contacted Home Depot immediately and received a confirmation e-mail that Sedgewick would handle the claim. Melissa from Sedgewick left a voice mail message informing me that Spirit should call me within 2 days. I have never received a phone call but was sent a claim form on June 20, 2022 that needed to be completed within 30 days. I did not get a chance to submit the claim form before receiving a letter from Spirit on July 2, 2022 informing me that they were denying my claim because the delivery persons said the refrigerator was already dented. The letter did not cite the correct date of the incident so it appears they randomly send out these letters without investigating. I am surprised that this company continues to deny claims when hundreds of customers have complained about the dishonesty of their delivery people and other staff. Further, you cannot reach anyone at their company by phone nor do they return your call when you leave a message. Spirit should know that there are many unresolved cases and that it may be time for a class action suit.

Desired outcome: Replace refrigerator door or entire refrigerator if replacement is not possible within 30 days.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Payment

I’m not even complaining about a delivery. I worked for this company, was hired before my background check went through and fired bc they didn’t like my background. But I NEVER got paid for what I worked. I reached out to the only supervisor number that I had and got blocked. Can’t find any corporate number or a way to reach someone higher up.

I too , was a contractor for them and was denied pay. They said I had claims against my paycheck but wouldn't provide proof of the claims. I missed our on two us months of pay because of them. If you are seeking legal assistance, let me know so i can get in with it.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Washer and Gas Dryer

Spirit Logistics delivered a washer and gas dryer. They hooked up both the washer and the gas dryer incorrectly. The washer hoses was hooked up to the wrong water faucets. Spirit Logistics also hook up my gas dryer incorrectly causing gas to leak into my home for months. They almost blew up my house killing all of us. I was having major headaches for months. I went out of town and came back and my basement smelled of pure gas. I called LG&E immediately which turned off my gas for a gas leak. I had to call a plumber. When plumber arrived he asked who hooked up my gas dryer. I explained Lowe's delivery people. He flipped. He said this house was going to blow at any moment. One wrong light and it would have blown. He said that it was installed incorrectly and has been leaking gas for months. I have a large plumbers bill and Spirit Logistics hasn't called or returned messages to correct their wrongs. I don't want this to happen to anyone else.

Desired outcome: I would like reimbursement for $255.00 plumbers bill and the people who installed it to be fired. I can send pictures and the bill for the repairs made to stop the leak. They could have killed 4 generations in one house.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Bond money and 1099

Worked for Spirit as a contractor for 1 year under Dawn Hillis. Have yet to receive my 1099 from 2020 AND 2021. Also my bond was never paid to me. My contract was up in August 2021 and I haven't heard nor received any form of MY money from them.

Desired outcome: I NEED WHATS MINE.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Deliver, Lowe’s (washer)

Delivery scheduled for today with a 4hr window. Driver said could only wait 15 mins. Warehouse called me, verified driver could only wait 15 mins. When I called to complain the lady "Alexis" kept cutting me off. Transferred to her manager, lady verified she was Alexis's boss "Jasmine". When I started to voice my aggravation she kept cutting me off and stated not letting her do her job instead of listening to me was crazy. Advised her that cutting an already pissed off customer then calling her crazy wasn't helping! She said have a nice day and hung up, while refusing to give me a corporate number!
Driver left my house as I was pulling down my road at 11:19! One minute, literally one minute longer!

I purchased a 27-cu ft French Door Refrigerator with Dual Ice Maker (Item [protected]/Model # RF27T5241SR) From Lowe's for my son and daughter-in-law and Spirit delivery service, delivered it and set it up and did not check to see if it was working or not. This was delivered 7/18/2022 some where around 12 to 1 PM. My son called me last night at 7:24 PM and said that the Frig was not working, it was not getting cold. I called Lowe's and talked to David and told him it was not working and he said the delivery guy should have made sure it was working before they left.

This was very poor service, if you were hired to deliver and set up, you should make sure that the appliance is working properly before you leave.

Lowe's said they would have a new one delivered today as they had some cancelations, but Spirit refused to deliver it today. Said it will be Friday before they will deliver the new one.

This is very unacceptable service.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Damage from the delivery guys to my back door

On October 22 a refrigerator was delivered to my home at 602 West Patton Ave, in Montgomery Alabama. In removing the old refrigerator the delivery guys decided to remove my back door. I don't really know why, because it was remove when I first bought the refrigerator. However in removing my back door the delivery guys, broke the hinges, broke the window opener, put whole in screen, lost screws that goes to hinges, door is off balance and can not close properly, several scratches and dents. I reported the incident to the store manager who put me in contact with the delivery manager Pierre, the manager sent the two delivery guys back to my home I showed them the damage and after that the said they had to go to the hardware store to look for screws for the door, they did not return instead they called and said they would be out the next day. The did not return, however they came out to pick up the small refrigerator to return to Lowe's, when I asked about my door, the young man became rude and said they don't got time. I have spoken with Karen who I have learned now is not honest as well as the delivery guys. My door is a custom made door and is very expensive, I have sent pictures, videos, estimates and everything that they asked and you all are still refusing to repair or replace my door. Now Karen is not even answering her phone. I wish to address this matter in a business way, but as seeing the different complaints at the Better Business Bureau it appears that this is a pattern with Spirit delivery and they never assume responsibility. But I also see that no one has taken legal actions to demand your company to be accountable.mHowever I will take legal actions as it applies to my home being damaged. If your company decides to treat or address my damages the way the pattern shown by reading these complaints. I will sue and seek to get a class action on the strength of the 58 other customers with same and similar mistreatment. Again I ask that this issue be address as it is warranted of legal ramifications.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Delivery of windows from Lowes

I ordered windows from Lowes. You attempted to deliver them Thursday 10/21/21and our office was closed. I spoke to your driver and he said he would come Friday. He called back and said he would come Saturday and I never heard anything. Spoke with someone on Monday 10/25/21 and they said my windows would be delivered today, 10/27/21. I called Lowes and they do not know where my windows are. We are in desperate need of them and I have been waiting on them since July 26, 2021. Please contact me ASAP!

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Property damage

Had a delivery from Lowe's using this company on July 27th and the truck driver tore up my driveway and culvert because he didn't know how to drive correctly. I filed a claim that day and have had no communication that the claim was received, processed, accepted, or anything. The numbers given I have left multiple messages and have not had a call back. I am so angry that I have $3500 worth of damages and nothing being done. I will NEVER have a delivery made by this company again and I will tell everyone I meet to refuse deliveries from this company.
It's not worth the property damage done, let alone the unprofessional treatment I have received.

Desired outcome: I’d like contact and assurance that the property damage will be paid for!

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Non delivery of refrigerator that was ordered 3 months ago.

Placed an online order to Lowes for a refrigerator to be delivered to our summer house in Jackson's Gap Alabama. Ordered on April 28, 2021. Kept getting emails stating changes in delivery dates (three different times). Finally got the fridge delivered on June 4th. It was badly damaged and had it returned. Got a different order for another one with delivery date of June 16th. Never showed up and was never notified of a new delivery date. Called Lowes in Opelika (where it was supposed to be delivered from)and nobody knew anything. Called the delivery service and they knew nothing either. Finally got Lowes to reorder and they said they couldn't get the fridge in white but they had one in stainless if we wanted to substitute. YES! So we were given another delivery date and of course nothing showed up. Get this, they said the truck broke down and would make the delivery as soon as it was fixed. It's now July 22 and still no fridge. We've been had. Time to just cancel everything and demand a refund!

Spirit called us on Friday night 7/31 - delivery window in am; called again delivery window switched to pm, called at end of delivery winodw - won't be out on Saturday would delivery on sunday; called Sat night to confirm; called Sunday am at end of delivery window, running late; called Lowes at 3:00pm - they did not have us on the manifest to deliver on Sunday - so we have waiting two days for nothing.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services delivery for lowes

My advise is to avoid ordering any appliances any big box store that employs Spirit Delivery & Distribution to deliver for them. This will include Lowes and Home Depot. After I suggested that the delivery person just take out the hinge pin on my door, he removed the entire door from the hinge and frame, shims falling everywhere and breaking. A large vintage stove had to be moved a few feet away to make room to put the new stove ordered from LOWES. I advised the delivery people that it was extremely heavy and they needed to use a hand truck to move the appliance. I was again ignored and the person who seemed to be in charge told the other man to help him move it without the hand truck. They proceeded to push side to side and twist the heavy appliance, in effect walking across my kitchen floor. This tore large gouges into my vinyl floor. We had moved into the house recently and the floor appeared to be brand new, and now it was ruined. I immediately pointed the damage out to the delivery person. He apologized and took a picture stating "so he could report it." I took pictures also. Then he turned his attention to the door and quickly replaced it. There was just one problem, the door would not even shut it was so poorly aligned. I had to run outside and tell him that he would have to come back and fix the door so I can close it. After ten minutes of fiddling with it and using his own different hex screws the door shut...barely, and drug the threshold which it didn't do previously. And they were off. I called the Lowes where I live in Douglasville GA and spoke with the assistant manager Chad and he got in touch with Spirit. The person at spirit Quin asked for pictures and told me I MAY need to get estimates for repairs, she would be in touch after she spoke to the contractor. I emailed pictures right away. The next time I heard from Quin she wanted to know where the estimates were. So I did get estimates after I knew I needed them. It did take me about 3 weeks as I had difficulty getting someone to come out. It's not a big job. I waited and heard nothing so I called and was told I sent them to the wrong email even though it was the only email address I ever had. I was given the correct email and again waited and waited and waited. I had to start calling Quin daily and was put off by her a few times stating she "hadn't heard from corporate", well call corporate then. Finally I was told the claim was denied and here's the good part. The reason I was given "the delivery person said he didn't do it." Wow, that's such an easy way to never ever have to pay any claims. Also, please be advised that Quin told me that they aren't really responsible and are a neutral party because Spirit hired a contractor to do the job. I called Lowes and was told by the manager Anthony that this is why Lowes stopped doing their own deliveries, so if something was installed improperly or damaged then Lowes would not be responsible. My 83 told mother is living in the area where the flooring was damaged, and if she falls and gets injured we will be holding them all responsible.
The day that I was FINALLY told my claim was denied Quinn said we would be getting paperwork for an appeal in the mail. It is now nearly a month later, guess what, no paperwork. MORAL OF THE STORY DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM LOWES OR HOME DEPOT IF SPIRIT DELIVERY & DISTRIBUTION IS GOING TO DELIVER. You will be on your own with absolutely no customer service.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services appliance delivery

Really should be able to give 0 stars. Hands down the absolute worst company ever. Ordered our washer and dryer from home depot. Their delivery schedule was backed up over 2 weeks ok, I get it. The day before the call for scheduling the FOUR HOUR drop off window was a robo-call with NO information and NO way to talk with someone. Drop off window comes and goes- yes. All FOUR HOURS. Not a word. Call to find out what is going on- at this point it is 7:30pm. It is either wait to get them that night, they are and hour and half behind, or 3 days later- because they can't reload them the next day... We gave them until 9:30 at which point we, again, can get a hold of no one, no word from anyone. Next day, no one is answering calls. Call home depot- appliances are in Norton? And earliest drop off is now 4 days. Our family of 5 needs their laundry done and we're waiting on your incompetance. Pathetic.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services delivery of a washer and dryer

HH Greg contracted Spirit Delivery to deliver my washer and dryer on. My items were delivered and when the delivery driver was leaving my home he backed into my lawn and get stuck in my yard across my driveway. While he was trying to get himself out he threw all sorts of garbage from the back of his truck under his tires to give him traction. After spinning his tires in my lawn for a half hour he did get out and left. He left huge ruts in my lawn and garbage everywhere. It is now June and the only thing I am getting is the run around. They refuse to take responsibility and have very poor customer relations. On of the WORST companies I have ever had to deal with!

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Property damage

Unfortunately, because of my experience with Spirit delivery, I may never purchase another appliances from Home depot again. Spirit delivered a washer and dryer and attempted to deliver a refrigerator which I returned due to the damage the delivery men caused in the process. These delivery men were the most incompetent, inexperienced I had every seen. They broke a light fixture and the cracked up the drywall in my new construction home. Spirit delivery has yet to compensate me for the the damages, instead they put the responsibility on me to find a contractor to do the repairs as if I have time to research contractors to get estimates. And without an estimate they will not do repairs which I think is ridiculous. They broke it...therefore, they should fix it. Its been two weeks and they haven't even followed up with me with any concerns. If you purchase an appliance from home depot, ask who the delivery company is before purchasing. Spirit delivery will damage your property with out any compensation.

Spirit Delivery & Distribution Services Poor service!

I purchased an appliance from Home Depot 2 weeks ago and was told that it had to be special ordered. I advised them that I needed a delivery on Saturday. A delivery was scheduled from 9-12pm on Saturday. I had other engagements scheduled for that morning so I contacted the delivery service (Spirit Delivery from NJ) and asked for a weekday evening delivery. I was told that a delivery request would be put in for after 3 pm on Wed. I received a phone call the day before stating that they would deliver 7am in the morning which was not possible because no one would be home. I got angry because I had already made arrangements for evening--spoke to a manager that seemed to care less and stated that I would have to reschedule. I told them that I would be going back to Home Depot to get my money back. I called HD and spoke with a manager that did not care either. After cooling off, I called back to reschedule. The person on the phone did not mute the call and stated " IT's so and so Douglas, the one that was acting like a B****." Upon hearing this I asked repeated what he said and the employee hung up the phone on me. BAD SERVICE< BAD ATTITUDES AND NOT FLEXIBLE TO WORK WITH CLIENTS. Due to this situation I will no longer spend my money in Home Depot.

Lowes refused to disclose who they use as the third part delivery company. My washer/dryer wasn’t delivered. The delivery guy called and told me he was done for the day and hung up. I had waited 2 weeks. This is a horrible company, very unprofessional and so is Lowes in Marianna, FL. Do not I repeat Do not give these people your money.

Purchased Fridge from Best Buy and when they delivered it they went to level it by adjusting the foot and dug his pliers into our floor. We didn't notice until after they left. Best Buy and Spirit Delivery would not follow up with phone calls and when Spirit Delivery contacted me exactly 47 days later after the delivery, they were extremely rude and offensive.

I wrote Best Buy and I will continue to make thier customer service and disrespectful ways of treating the customer after the purchase be known. You've been warned..

12/15/15 I bought a stove from Best Buy and they had Spirit Delivery deliver it. They had my daughter come out to drive way and look at stove and sign for it. They brought it in and did not secure because they said I have concrete in walls ( we have no concrete). They did not level it and pot of water almost slid off. They broke my granite counter top. Best Buy wants nothing to do with this. DO NOT BUY FROM BEST BUY AND WHEN YOU BUY APPLIANCES MAKE SURE DELIVERY COMPANY IS NOT SPIRIT DELIVERY!

I've purchased a fridge two weeks ago from store #989-Cherry Hill and requested to be delivered today December 11, 2014. Today the delivery truck came on time @9.30 and the fridge was taken apart, doors and trays have been removed, screws were left in the trays etc. I have requested the delivery team to bring the fridge through the back door as we have measured that the fridge would fit through that door. Unfortunately we were missing an inch for the fridge to fit through the door. I asked the delivery team to wait until I have someone coming and take the door out. I was told they could not wait but that they would come back to finish the job. They've also told me that they could not come back today as they have others deliveries. Then the delivery team called their office and scheduled me for Saturday for someone else to come back and get the fridge in the house and assemble it and hook it to the water etc. They took the old fridge out and left.
The guy that I called to help me with the back door and take it out, arrived right when it started to snow.
So now it started to snow and the fridge was in my backyard.
I called the delivery company and asked to send someone else or have the initial team make a quick stop back to my house. I was placed on hold multiple times, had to call back, asked for the supervisor and did not get any help. Any help at all l! I was told multiple times that they would not change the schedule of the delivery team, they would not send someone else because overtime is not approved by the company, they can do nothing for me.
At 1pm I called the store GM hoping he can help. He was not available to speak with me. The weather was bad, my fridge was sitting outside, my back door had been taken out and I paid for a service that I did not receive (delivery and installation)
At 2PM I get a call back from the store manager who says he would send two of his associates to help me get the fridge in the house and they would also be able to assemble the fridge, but not hook it to the water line.
They came around 3.30 after my husband had to take a half day off, get some help and get the fridge in the house, HD associates did not bring tools to assemble the fridge. My husband was not pleased with the job they've done.
SO, what did the delivery team and the company Spirit do for me? NOTHING, except they left me a fridge, that I paid for it, in my backyard.
Where's the installation service that I paid for it? Who is to pay for my husband time, for the work he had done and for my time that I spent on the phone trying to get someone to help us? Spirit/HD were not helpful and on top of that the delivery team had finished their schedule an hour earlier.
Now, more than ever, I am convinced that if I would to purchase from Home Depot again I would have the same delivery service. Who wants that? I am sure I don't want this kind of service.
Sorry HD but you lost a customer because no one bothered to care about this and or change the schedule of the delivery team, or send another team back to my house to finish the job that I paid for it !
No one cared that I did not have a fridge-the old one was gone-the new one was not assembled, not working and outside in the snow-that my backdoor was out and cold wind and snow were coming in the house, that I spent hours on the phone, asking and begging for someone to come back and understand that this was an exception and not something "just because", that my husband had to get help and carry the fridge in the kitchen and now he has a back pain, that we had to witness a job pour done by HD's associates and still wait for someone to come and hook the fridge to the water line.
More savings-for Home Depot by not delivering the service I’ve paid for and more doing apparently for me, doing the work the delivery team was suppose to do.
This was such a bad experience, no compassion and no understanding found from HD/Spirit and my message was sent to Spirit and HD management including District managers, VP of Operations and CEO.

We purposely delayed the delivery of our new refrigerator to a Saturday in order to ensure that we were 100% available to the delivery people as we know (and noted in our order) that our apartment is difficult to find. Note- it's difficult to find when you put the CORRECT address into your GPS. When you select the next town over, it's next to near impossible.

So here's the story- we received our window last night and got a call at 8:02 AM that they would arrive within in an hour. At 8:58 the delivery men called, angry they couldn't locate our apartment. Based on the nearby landmarks they listed for us, we figured out they were one town over, about ten minutes away and directed them towards our house. At 9:15, they called back, yelling at my husband that we gave him the wrong directions. As my husband tried to correct him, he hung up. We tried calling back three times to no avail. I called Home Depot and they were also unable to get the driver on the phone. After over 30 minutes they said the delivery warehouse would call us to reschedule for today.

We did not receive a call back so I called the delivery company. They said they would "try' to deliver it but were making no guarantees. Sure, the men who hung up on us are going to try to come again. Right.

They have not improved, it seems. I ordered a very expensive microwave at Home Depot and paid extra for the delivery and installation. They delivered it, took the old one, but refused to install, owing to an issue with the backsplash. I was told that once I fixed the issue, I could reschedule them in 24 hours. I fixed the issue, and called to reschedule. The earliest appointment was a week out. I accepted that. The next week, I was given a window from 1:15-5:15. I had heard nothing by 4:00, so I called to verify that they were coming. They said I was stop number 16 for the day, and that they were en route to number 15, so it would not be too much longer. At 5:30, I called again, and was on hold for a while, listening to their recording advertising "A to Z Guarantee!" When I finally got an operator, I asked what that guarantee was, and they had no idea what I was talking about. I asked if they would still call me a half hour before they came, as guaranteed, but he had already hung up. So I called back. I was disconnected. I called back. I was put on hold. I called back. I was disconnected. I called back. I got someone who said they would come and that they definitely would call a half hour before. I asked about the guarantee, since they were obviously not going to be here on time. They said the guarantee was only that the drivers would do their best to be on time. What kind of guarantee is that? Finally, at 6:40 I called the local Home Depot, and they tried to contact the delivery person. They called me back at 7, and said they couldn't get through. However, this woman was very sympathetic and promised to check on this the next day. I still have a microwave sitting on my floor instead of over the stove where it belongs.

I had a very similar issue with the Spirit/Home Depot delivery person this morning. He refused to bring a washer and dryer into my basement after telling me, "Basic setup and delivery means first floor only." He also used incredibly foul language. He asked my husband why I was allowed to speak with the men and told him to learn how to control his woman . I contacted Home Depot and Spirit's headquarters. The customer service representatives at both locations told me that he felt uncomfortable making deliveries in, "such a white-trash neighborhood." I live in a very nice area of Philadelphia, not in scary part. When I told the Spirit rep. that the driver said, "This is the third delivery I refused today, what makes you special?, " he laughed. It wasn't until I mentioned that I work for a law firm that Home Depot agreed to cancel my order and refund all my money. It's disgraceful that such a large company as the Home Depot would keep a contract with a company that treats it's customers with such little respect. I will also NEVER shop at there again.
