This is an ongoing issue (over 3 years) and although Republic has "escalated" the situation several times no one follow ups to fix the issue. Everyone in my neighborhood has black trash cans and blue recycling cans. Not mine. I think this is why Republic drivers fail to empty the blue trash can? They think it is a recycling can. I have requested Republic replace my blue trash can with a black trash can in hopes this would resolve the problem. To date this still have not done it. Please help.
Desired outcome: Replace my trash can with a BLACK can. Simple. You would think.

The drivers look for a BLACK trash can on trash day. Republic gave me a BLUE trash can! The assured me that this was not going to be a problem, even though everyone in my neighborhood has black trash cans and blue recycling cans. So, about once every 2 or 3 months I have to call Republic to have my trash picked up because the driver missed it on trash day. I have asked several times to have the blue can replaced with a black can in hopes this would resolve the problem. Although Republic agents tell me they will it NEVER GETS DONE!
