We have cancelled our agreement for our office in line with the agreement and are being charged a restoration fee as per agreement, which we paid. We are also being charged an exit fee, which is not in the agreement and ridiculously high for a small area of 9sqm which had very little wrong with it.
To date we have not had an explanation of the basis for the ‘exit fee’ or how this was arrived at. We have not been provided with a complaints procedure and the reply to our complaint via the website did not answer our queries or provide documentation.
The House rules referred to in the initial explanation of the charges are dated this year, when the agreement started in 2024. We were not informed of any updates and/or given the opportunity to agree to updates, which makes this legally questionable at best.
I am very unhappy with the treatment we have had – a respectable company would not be acting this way.
Desired outcome: I would like to have the invoice for 'exit fees' cancelled and the deposit returned within the 30 day limit set by Regus.
