Ready Refrigeration

Been usin' Ready Refrigeration since 2014 and they know their stuff. They told us what they were puttin' in and their techs are top-notch - super helpful, nice, and real pros.

On March 18, Ready Refrigeration made an offer to install heat pumps for the condo owners at S ***., Bedford. The installation wasn't done right as the technicians used a compressed air hammer to break through the brick exterior instead of a core drill. When they opened the building envelope, they didn't seal the opening. Ready Refrigeration said they would come back to fix it, but they didn't. The Board of Directors of Summer Cove, HCCC#238, had to stop further installations and have the building engineer prescribe both the installation process common to the industry and a repair process to the 13 flawed installations. Ready Refrigeration told the 13 owners that they would be charged $500 plus hst for repairs. I objected to my bill last August 31/21 as I don't believe that I did anything wrong. My responsibility ended with the Gyproc repairs as stated in their proposal. On March 27th, 2022, I received a bill from a collection agency for $500 plus hst. This is a true summary of our experience with Ready Refrigeration. If you can help, I would appreciate it.
