Misty Ridge Animal Resort and Boarding Kennel

6 years ago, we bought a GSD puppy from Joyce Burdette at Misty Ridge, New Windsor, MD. He was touted as being "Healthy, well bred, having had hip dysplasia bred out of him." What we weren't told is that due to his breeding, he had arthritis of a dog more that twice his age, had such a poor immune system, he couldn't fight infection and had such horrible allergies, he got ear infections and itched all the time. Our handsome boy suffered, in pain, until he succumbed to his infection. He had been to the vet's office an incredible number of times, was on large amounts of meds, had two surgeries to try to fight the infection in his leg; nothing worked. Many, many dollars later, he died on 11/12/16. HIs absence in our family's lives will be felt forever.
