I am Aniruddh Jain, the patient who is requesting a waiver for the lasik surgery which was denied because my number being less than -7. Please note that this criterion would/should apply in case the reason for surgery below this number is cosmetic, however in my case it is a professional hindrance hence I seek an exception and deny your right to reject this claim. I have been using glasses for 10 years and now getting them removed to pursue a side career in surfing and diving and aiming to compete professionally in those sports. I am current undergoing training to be a Scuba Instructor and Surf Instructor, both which are pending my final certification weeks, and I would like to request a waiver on basis of a professional need.
