Not Friendly to Business
If you are a business owner, DO NOT use Arizona Bank & Trust! They are NOT friendly to business owners and will nickel and dime with fees. They charge ridiculous fees on business checking accounts such as a "foreign currency exchange fee". You get charged this fee even if you don't deal in foreign currency! Yet when you talk to Arizona Bank & Trust they will tell you "we add this fee to all of our bank business accounts . . . so everyone has to pay it". What a bunch of crap this bank is . . . don't do business with them!
This is just one of several fees Arizona Bank & Trust will charge your checking account! The fee statements are complex and have multiple line items of charges which appear to be the same thing. Obviously, the bank has the right to charge any fee it desires so long as the customer is willing to pay it to remain a customer of that bank. However, a bank does not have the right to charge fees without notice to the customer and/or fail to explain in simple language the fees which are being charged. Given the financials filed by Arizona Bank & Trust with the FDIC over the last 3 years, it is apparent the bank is looking to increase revenue anyway it can. Arizona Bank & Trust has not performed well over the past 3 years . . . check the FDIC website for yourself . . . www.fdic.gov
