A1 Construction

I paid A1 Construction $1000 to buy materials for hardwood flooring installation in my home on 03/28. However, as of now, no materials have been purchased. I spoke to him on April 28, and asked for a refund. He told me that I would receive the refund the following Tuesday. Despite leaving multiple messages and texts, I have not received any reply. Ms. informed me that my money was taken to North Carolina to pick up the flooring and complete a job there. Until now, I haven't heard anything from him. I tried calling him early today, but he didn't answer.

Paid A1 construction $1500.00 for a new rubber roof to fix the leaky roof. My roof leaked in the kitchen and upstairs bedrooms. After the work, the leaks worsened. I contacted the contractor for repairs, which failed. Further attempts to reach him were unsuccessful. I've called, texted, and visited the contract address without response. The new roof looks a decade old in under a year. I paid another $400.00 to fix the leak. I just want my $1500.00 refunded. My attempts to reach A1 Construction spanned from 1 AUG 2019 to 26 SEPT 2020.
