Service and damage
Bringing y car in for oil changes, tires and front end alignment, I am told all fluids are checked. I bring my car in for a check on the transmission, pay for diagnostic and 2200. The say it us a battery. 2 days later bring back in and they say oh sorry we don't know, might want to bring to aamco. I have it towed and low and behold yes it was transmission, service manager tells me send the invoice and thier insurance will take care of the 7k rebuilt transmission. Now they won't answer, return calls or emails
Desired outcome: Pay for the transmission you guys failed to catch

Made a required appointment for service at the Chino CA store location on Grand Ave. A simple oil change, no air filter, not any other service, just a simple, routine, oil filter and new oil. The appointment was for 11:30am, Saturday, October 7, 2023 and the car was not finished until 4:30pm. The only explanation/comment at 3:00pm was, "I've got cars here from 10:30am appointments". There was no effort, no explanation, no justification for this level of poor service. The manager/whoever didn't charge me for the service and that was the absolute least he could do.
I will never do business with Pep Boys again. 30yrs of customer loyalty doesn't mean anything anymore. Something is terribly wrong at Pep Boys. I will be telling all my friends and family too. I know that sounds petty, probably even a little pathetically empty, but this is the worst service, or lack-therof I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing.
Desired outcome: I would appriciate a response. Something is wrong at that garage and I wasn't the only customer there for back-to-back-to-back-to back hours waiting for simple repairs after making an appointment.

I was charged $500 for parts, and $1,500 for labor, as they counted each repair separately billing (time wise) for car disassembly and reassembly x4 even if it was in fact done once, as all the parts live in the same exact area. on Monday July 31st I had my car towed via your 800 number to the center on Philadelphia Pike in Claymont Delaware. They finally looked at it on Wed. Aug. 2nd and said i needed a new starter. I was at the store on Thurs. the 3rd and they said the mounting bolt was missing. they then came out and said it wasn't a bolt but a dowel. they also said that the lower bolt was bent and that they would have to cut it out costing more labor. I approved the extra cost as needed. I thenn left they did nothing with my car until Sat. the 5th in the afternoon at which time they called me and said they were in "over their heads " . I took the car ( A bmw 330ci) to another shop, and it took 4 hours to repair. The shop stated that the bolt was not bent and came out relatively easily.

Need a new tire, brought it in early. They said it'll take a couple hours. So I left, ran errands and came back and my car still hasn't been seen. Still sitting in the same spot I parked it. This is ridiculous no matter how busy they are. Not one employee called or informed me on any updates, or as I waited in the area , never approached me with any information. I have receipts for many lifetime warranty parts purchased over the counter from Pepboys and 1800PEPBOYS no longer sends a form for refund of original purchase. This violates the lifetime warranty agreement and leads me to assume I will have to file a lawsuit unless this issue is resolved. I have an invoice for an alternator bought 6/26/20 lifetime warranty. Called 1800pepboys and the lady told me they do not have affiliation with any parts supplier anymore. no help.
Desired outcome: I would like to know who took over Pepboys parts warranties or if there is a process to get refunded for any failed parts in warranty.
