Javelin Technical College / Med Tech review: Medical billing and coding certification

We basically taught ourselves. The teachers were very combative like we were bothering them most of the time.

I graduated with a 4.0 and never received my official copy of my certification because they said I owe $600. Some additional fee they said was for my certification copy. Hmmmm so WTF did my student loan pay for because I'm still paying on it up until this day. I started in 2007. The school changed names etc while I was still in school. Even moved us out of the original building into the new med tech building off of Lavista Rd. In Georgia.

When I reported it, I kept getting the run around. I never obtained a job in that field because they lied and said the school was accredited when it was not. I was laughed at by jobs I interviewed for, who informed me that they could not accept the credits I obtain during my time at this school. Do you know how frustrating it is to waste more than a year of your time and money for absolutely nothing? Excuse me, for debt. That was the only thing I obtained from this dreadful school. The paperwork signed stated this was an accredited school. It literally says currently that the school in morrow, GA is accredited. Scam! It is not!

This is illegal. I know it is. Should we all do a petition against them and sue? Who knows how to get a civil suit started if that's the best course of action to take?

I wish I never went here, it has ruined my life, credit, and urge to continue college.
