Walgreens pharmacy

I used the drive thru at the Walgreen on lemmon drive in lemmon valley nevada this afternoon to pick up my prescription and after I had driven away I stopped to check and see why I had been charged so much for my prescriptions. When I looked in the bag there were two additional items with my prescriptions that I did not ask for. I then went into the pharmacy and told them that there were additional items put in my bag and that I was charged for them. The lady that was helping me was extremely rude and the boy standing behind her said oh I put those in there and said "my bad" but you weren't, charged for them. I informed her that I was charged for them and that I did not want the items and that I would like my money back for these items. She said" well maybe the doctor thought you needed them and called in these prescriptions". Really, are you kidding me. I have never heard of such a thing in my life. A doctor just adding stuff to your prescriptions and not even informing you of that. And besides that these were not prescriptions they were otc allergy medicines. A manager then had to be called over to handle the refund. He took care of the refund and handed me a receipt that had the amount of the refund on it. When I checked at my bank it shows that I have been charged the full amount for everything that was mistakenly put in my bag and there is no amount showing for a refund. I would like to know why my bank account has not been credited for the amount that I was charged for these two additional items. I will be transferring my prescriptions elsewhere and will not be shopping at Walgreens again nor will I ever recommend Walgreens to anyone. Very disappointed with the service at Walgreen s There are a lot of people in this world that are unemployed and would appreciate being able to work so it seems to me that these employees at Walgreen s should take there jobs more seriously.

After recovering from a hysterectomy I had to wait in the pick up line because this Walgreens had their drop off window closed. Now after waitng 45-50 minutes in line the one tech that was attending customer decided to give the most unproffesional and rude service that I have ever recieved from any Walgreens. When I got to the counter I told her I wanted to get a presciption filled for my son .Her name is Patricia( she wears glasses and a pony tail). she told me she had to see if the drug was in stock and put my pescription down and preceded to start give other people that were in line behind me their presciptions. By the time she was on a second customer behind me, , I interupted her and ask her why would I have to stand the and wait for her to take care on everyone else before she could even tell me if they have ther drug in stock. She became very rude and told me that I should have went to the consulting window and she said it in an insulting way like I didnt know how to read .But I told her the drop off window says come to pick up window not consulting window. Then I asked her why should I have to wait until she gives everyone there presciption before she would even check then she tells me quote "she on the phone"in a smart matter referring to the pharmacist. At this point I was very upset and dissapointed, I had been going this Walgreens for over 16 years. I told her to give my presciption back and I told my daughter to put her school supplies back because I no longer wanted anything else from this store this was on 11/10/09 @ approximatelybetween6 -7:15 pm at night becasue when I got to Walgreens it was about6:20 and there were eight people in line in fron of me. there was also an older gentle man in front of me she had done him the same way . This person had no people skills or professional skills was very rude and incompetent. When customers go to Walgreens they go there to get the best service or so I thought . This location is horrible and it sad that one person can make this store loose its valueble customers. I hope this complaint is also seen by Walgreens Corporate offices because changes need to be made before I even think about going back there.

In the past week we have had very bad experience with the service of some of your stores in the pharmacy area. And the thing is we changed from Walmart one cause it's closer to our house and two it's suppose to have better service.I have a question (why can't you refill a prescription when there is still an hour and a half to close?)My husband was released from the emergency like about 7:30 that night and I took the prescription right away, the store was closeing at 9:00pm and they said I had to go to the one that is open 24 hrs.Can you imagine how hard it was for my husband to have to ride and wait more with pain.I hope you can answer this for us.Thank-you Pat D.

EVERYTIME, Once a month, I have to deal with the ###s that work at the Walgreens Pharmacy and it is not just 1 location. They have implemented a Call Center filled with Rude, Uneducated idiots that hang up on you if they cannot answer your question. It is becoming harder to get directly to the ###s at the physical Pharmacy location.

My Doctor's office has to Fax in AND Call in my prescription refills, regardless of whether I refill with their automated system or with a ### from the call center or pharmacy. They just cannot process a simple request.

What is Walgreens Corporate doing about this problem...people do not pick up meds for fun they pick them up because they need to take them and Walgreens makes this a nightmare every single time.

I have my prescriptions on automatic refills and why is it that when i go to pick up my prescriptions that they are not ready and another thing why when I drop off my prescriptions and let them know that I will be back in 2 days to pick it up they can not find my prescription and when I went to walgreens to pick up my prescriptions they charged me full prise and they were suppose to charge my insurance company. I have alot of prescriptions that need to be refilled and that is why they are on automatic refills because I can not remember them all that is why I did it in the first place. If I continue to have problems I will swich pharmacies, I would really appreciate it if would get this resolved. Thank You Terry Seth

DO NOT let Walgreens tell you "we are short a few pills" They will make you repay your insurance deductible. I had an order for the Polk St. Walgreens. They were short three pills--I ended up flying home before they had the remainer of my prescription Guess what, they wanted me to pay my co-pay again for the remainder three pills. I paid the full co-pay the first time for my particial order.

DO NOT BELIEVE them when they say "oh just go into your local pharmacy when you get home and they'll get you the remaining pills--yes they will but you'll be out another co-pay much less the hassle with driving back to pick up drugs.

Numerous talks with both the manager on Polk St. San Fran. Walgreens and the Lexington MN Walgreens both resulted in the same thing--NO, we will charge you despite it BEING their fault. IF they can't fill completely then go to another pharmacy and you'll save the headache and money.

I have my prescriptions on auto refills to be shipped to me. My refills were due several days ago and have not arrived. The individual store, customer service and the warehouse do not know what happened to my order, except that it was filled over a week ago and my credit card was charged. They have no record of CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES being shipped. They also have no communication between each other and keep giving me the run around with different phone numbers I have to call. They won't do anything to help me and won't let me pick my prescriptions up in the store because their "computers" say it was already filled. I am definitely switching pharmacies after this latest fiasco. They are unprofessional idiots that probably graduated last in their class, it's amazing some of them are actually pharmacists!

Today I went to Walgreens to get my prescription filled and a nice lady said I will be with you in a moment. I said okay and thank you. A few minutes later she took my prescription to fill it. I told her I was going to the restroom but would be back when I thought she was finished. I came back from the restroom and a young lady said. I was just looking for you. I've never met her in my life so I felt that was a weird statement. She proceded to say I need your insurance card. I told her I have a new insurance let me get the card for you. I gave her my card and she said we don't take your insurance. I said excuse me that could not be right. She said you heard me then she said it very slow as if I had a hearing problem. I said I hear you but I'm certain I have insurance and that is the card. She said well we don't take that insurance. I had just left my Doctors office and they took the card I couldn't understand. I then call one of my close friends from my job that I knew had just used our new insurance and she said she had her childrens prescription filled. My friend said we have a card just for prescriptions. Then she told me the name of the card. I found the card in my wallet because our insurance gave us 8 different cards. I pull it out thanked my friend and hung up the call. The young lady said oh you do have the right card. You should have given me that card in the first place. I can not believe this lady did not say Ms. do you get a pharmacy card when they sent you insurance cards, Oh my goodness! I asked for my perscription back and drove to CVS down the street. I walked up to pharmacy all they asked me is for my pharmacy card and my Doctors name. I've been to a different Walgreens and I'm in their system. I've never gone to CVS to the pharmacy and they customer service there was extremely better.

I have been using Walgreens on Camp Bowie Bld. in Fort Worth Texas for more than 10 years and spend an average of $350 per month on presciption drugs at Walgreens. I am now going to switch to a locally owned pharmacy or CVS. The reason is that I wait in line or wait for service on average 20 minutes each visit. This is even the case on Sunday mornings when there is not a single person in line. The reason seems to be the lack of staffing. Most of the staff I have encountered are very nice. The problem is there is one staff person covering the counter and drive through lane. Making matters even worse is that this Walgreens has the double drive through lane. This makes no sense because there is still only one staff person working both lanes and the inside counter. When I was in MBA school we analyzed Walgreens and found that something like 60% of their revenue comes from the Pharmacy. So why would Walgreens dissapoint so many customers that there are multiple sites that appear when "Googling" Walgreens Sucks or Walgreens poor customer service.

Tonight while waiting in the drive through lane again (this time 25 minutes) I vowed to switch pharmacies and tell others about my experience in hopes Walgreens would pay attention to the problem. I love my city and think Walgreens is a poor community citizen to behave in the manner they do.

The Walgreen's on McCausland Ave. is horrble. They constantly are unable to refill my medications because they are out of them, they almost never call to let me know that my meds can't be refilled, they have lost a refill, and left my insulin on the counter instead of the fridge. I don't know what the deal is, but something has got to change.

Walgreens nazi... communism

As I am reading tHru tHe many complaints about Walgreens Pharmacy, one thing stands out in my mind...Nazi Germany, and all the Walgreens have an Adolph Hitler as a Pharmacy Manager. It is also comparable to Cuba with its Communism...they like that in their stores. Poor Employees that have to work there. Now I know why they are all so unhappy...the public needs to boycott this joke of a store and pharmacy. There are much better places to shop, other then Walgreens!

Walgreens defamation of character... called my dr.

I decided to try Walgreens Pharmacy to fill my new Prescriptions, as opposed to CVS, which I have used for years. First, one of the drugs I take is Ambien, which is a controlled drug. It have huge sleep issues, and without this medication, I do not sleep more then 2 hours a night. The first thing Walgreens did, was mess up on my Insurance billing, which caused me to run out of my pills, and I could not get any for 5 days. So, out of sheer disgust, I told them I wanted my script sent back over to CVS, and they agreed to call CVS and transfer my script to them. Cvs called me, saying they wanted to verify that I did want my script moved back to them, and wanted to make me aware that if I did transfer the script, I would loose all refills on my medication, except for 1, due to Connecticut laws regarding controlled drugs. So, I ended up telling CVS just to send the script back over to Walgreens, and I would refill it there until the refills were out, then the next script, I would take to them. The lady at CVS said ok, she would take care of it, and call Walgreens back and let them know what's going on. Now, fast forward to today...I get a voicemail on my phone, and it was my Doctors office, saying that Walgreens Pharmacy called my Doctor, and told him that I was getting my Ambien filled at 2 different pharmacies...at CVS AND Walgreens! I was floored! I didn't know what they were talking about, and my Doctors office was closed. So, I called Walgreens, spoke to the Pharmacist, who proceeded to tell me that the Pharmacy Manager, Samantha, called my Doctor, and told him that I was having my prescription filled at BOTH pharmacies, and because of this my Doctor had cancelled out my prescription for Ambien! I was beyond angry at this point! I called their corp office, and filed a complaint, and the lady told me that she was forwarding this to the district office, and they would be in contact with me. Now, I look like a drug addict, thanks to Samantha at Walgreens, and now have to take a day off work to drive to my Doctors office, and TRY to explain to him what happened. If he actually gives me another prescription for Ambien, I will be amazed. Thank you Walgreens for making me look like a drug addict, and damaging my reputation...I will NEVER go back to another Walgreens again! People beware!

Dear Long Face...I have taken the opportunity to look at some of your postings here on this Forum. I have reached a conclusion about you...I think you're some 48 year old Virgin, living in your Moms basement, heavily medicated, to control your anti-socialist and intermittent explosive disorder, who surfs the Internet all day looking at Porn and Masturbating. You probably have a blow up Girlfriend, and haven't left the basement in 2 weeks to even as much as bathe. I'm sure Gnats are probably flying around your Genitalia, and your socks are probably fused to your feet from where you have ejaculated on your floor, then stepped in it. Thank goodness you still have your Mom, otherwise, where would you live, and how would your Porn sites get paid for?

As far as I'm concerned, Walgreens thinks everyone's a drug addict. I also work in the Medical Field, and my license could have ALSO been on the line, over this whole thing. But, also know, that I have constant patient contact, at a place that deals with a lot of long term injuries, where controlled drugs are prescribed. This is a very scary situation for me, being in health care. But, I also am in the position to advise the Patients as to where to NOT have medication filled at. I make it a priority to tell the Patients, to try and avoid filling any prescription at Walgreens, because ultimately it will turn into a nightmare situation. My advice to them, is to use CVS, and just don't go to Walgreens at all. I only wish that somebody had of warned me about Walgreens. It would have saved me a tremendous amount of stress and tears.

Update by Rduval

Apparently you are not understanding, so I will explain slower...when a person has a script transferred to another pharmacy from Walgreens, it does not make them a drug addict. Sorry Walgreen fans, but the pharmacists at this fly by night place, are a disgrace to all other pharmacists. Accusing a person of abusing any drug, without any proof, other then having a script transferred to another place, does not fly...now I know why so many people won't do business with them.

Update by Rduval
Apr 20, 2013 8:00 am UTC

Ok, so lets see if I'm understanding what posters have been saying here...if a person has a prescription at Walgreens, calls and has it sent to another pharmacy, then they automatically should be reported as drug addicts?

Update by Rduval
Apr 20, 2013 7:49 am UTC

Ok, mr. Wonderful...I did NOT try to have a prescription refilled at 2 different pharmacies...I tried to have the script cancelled out at Walgreens, and sent over to CVS...and their were no facts, just assumptions. Walgreens is a POS as is its pharmacy manager, Samantha.

Does not give them thr right to call my Doctor with a blatelent lie...Walgreens was way out of line with this one.

Update by Rduval
Apr 18, 2013 8:16 pm UTC

Well, I tell you...new patient or not...calling my Physician ang telling him a blatant lie, which makes me look like a major dope head, surly is not protocol...as far as I'm concerned, Samantha, should be standing in the unemployment line. You just don't assume things, and epically verbally telling someone, like a Physician, I'm filling More then one prescription...I just don't get it, and somebody is gonna have to answer to this one...very damaging statement, and humiliating...epically since I'm a Laboratory Tech, and this could follow me back to my job. Not a cool thing to do to anybody, ever!

I agree with the poster. I stopped using the Walgreens Pharmacy, after so many issues with them. Seems like every-time I went there, there was always an issue over a Prescription. I finally got fed up with the Pharmacist wanting to question me in regards to Prescriptions. They always made me feel like I was some sort of a Criminal, trying to get one over on them. Walgreens Pharmacy is just awful, and I also, will not be returning there.

Cos, was it a controlled substance? If you accept a partial on a control, you lose the refills, so asking for the remainder would be reason to call your doctor. It is the law child.

I just had a pharmacist at Walgreens tell me that I am asking for the rest of my partial fill because I don't have any more pills and wanted to call my doctor when they actually owed me the pills to fill the script and I still had pills to shake in a bottle at them. Walgreens pharmacists are psychic too. But I called me doctor right there in Walgreens and let him tell off the pharmacist.

As far as I am concerned, if you were in the medical field that in any way had anything to do with prescription drugs, you would never have posted this complaint, nor would you be opening yourself up to a lawsuit by badmouthing a pharmacy. But continue. I will wait and read about you on the news.

Contact the DEA and let us know what they tell you. The fact is, like it or not, the pharmacist did what federal law requires. Period, moan, whine, complain. It matters not. It IS the pharmacist's legal obligation to notify your doctor of any suspected doctor/pharmacy shopping and or misuse of medication.

Pharmacists follow federal law regardless of how patients feel about it. If you like CVS so much stay with them. You already had a relationship with CVS, and went to a pharmacy with a narcotic that did not know you.

Walgreens automated system refill failure

Customer service at Walgreens has turned into a complete failure since they implemented the automated nationwide numbers for refills and you can longer speak -if needed- to the local pharmacist technician manning the store. When they had the prescription orderering/refill process being handled locally at the store, there were NEVER any service issues or errors. Now, you call in a refill request, get a confirmation for it, and when you show up at the store to pick up the prescription refill, they have no record of it! No matter how many times I have complained about this problem, nobody does anything -not even the so-called "supervisors", and the problem continues to persist as they have no clue -or no competent techical support- as to how to correct the issue. And if you do not want your medication on auto-refill... good luck - no matter how many times you tell them you don't want them on auto refill, the system will bump it back to auto refill status! They have spent millions renovating stores, they even sell apples and bananas, and now their pharmacists get to play "receptionist" in the front desk! A complete disgrace!

Walgreens prescription refills

I had a new prescription for Klonopin written by my psychiatrist. The Walgreen's pharmacist refused to fill it since it had been less than 30 days since I had filled my old Klonopin prescription. I am not an insurance patient. I pay cash for all my prescriptions. This is not right. My doctor is aware of this. That's why he wrote me a new prescription so there wouldn't be a problem. I am seeing similar complaints on this site about Walgreen's. I can understand if it was an insurance regulation. But if I am paying cash and have a valid new prescription from my doctor, they should not refuse to fill it. I am done with Walgreen's. I have filled there for the past 5 years and probably spend $150 per month out of pocket. I know they won't miss my business but I will never return to a Walgreen's to fill prescriptions again. A pharmacy degree does not give one license to overrule a valid prescription from my doctor when I am a cash patient. Goodbye Walgreens.

Walgreens employee behavior

Went to pharmacy at 10:30 this evening. Home with 3 sick kids and husband is out of town so in a hurry as neighbor watching kids briefly. On phone with husband while I was waiting in line due to husband out with clients until late and trip to Walgreens first chance I had to speak to him all day. Pharmacy tech passed over me/did not wait on me. When I asked him if he was ready for me he stated that he did not assist people speaking on the telephone because it was rude. When I got off the telephone, he rang me up for the incorrect amount on my prescription because the pharmacy had failed to apply the walgreens pharmacy benefits that I purchased after having showed them the walgreens pharmacy as well as my blue cross insurance cards when dropping of the prescription.

Walgreens wrong medication

I had my 7 month sons prescription filled today at the Walgreens pharmacy. When my husband picked up the prescription and returned home. I read the label to check dosage and directions. The condition being treated was no where near what the label had stated. I called the pharmacy and asked them if the brand name was correct and they told me they had made an error and the medication i was given was the wrong one. Needless to say, i was very angry and all of the things that could have gone wrong if i given my son the medication went through my mind. He could have seriously been harmed by the pharmacys medication error.

Walgreens pharmacy employee

I broke my foot almost 2 months ago in a car accident. I have never received prescription pain medicine but that doesn't matter. I had a prescription of pain medicine filled on the 22nd of October. I dropped off my prescription for this month at Walgreens in Portland, tn. I called tonight the 19th to tell them I would be there tomorow to pick it up and the pharmacy tech named Wayne, got very rude with me. He made me feel as if I was a crackhead. He told me that I couldn't get it til Wednesday and I shouldn't have ran out yet if I took it properly. I never told him I was out. He just assumed I was a junkie I guess who abuses pain meds. I proceeded to tell him that I would just come get my prescription because I didn't want to do business with someone like that. He then told me to drive on up there if I could get there and get it then. His tone was awful. I told the man I would I only lived 5 min away and he told me I wasn't his father and he wasn't my son so I didn't have to tell him anything about myself. My temper rose and I specifically told him he didn't have to get smart or treat me like I was a junkie. He then told me my mother probably was. This is unexceptable. I could be a mayor or anyone. This man has no idea who I am. And no one deserves to be spoke to this way. What he doesn't know is I am someone. And my attorney will be notified. I was discriminated against because I was in an accident that wasn't my fault and had to have pain medication? If anyone reads this I will never do any business with any Walgreens ever again. I am human, and who is Wayne to judge me?

I am a long time customer of Walgreen's, I get all my scripts filled there. My regular store was out of my pain medications so I went to another Walgreen's about a 10 minute drive from my house. They filled my script in July and August. In September, I went back and was told by the Pharmacy Manager Jennifer Clemans that, "We haven't had this medication in...

Walgreens bad customer service

I took a bottle of Eucerin Lotion back to the store I purchased it from (Walgreens Pharmacy located on Perris Blvd in the city of Moreno Valley, Ca.). I didn't have the original receipt with me (couldn't find it) so when I entered the store I immediately told the clerk (Irene, I believe) near the entrance that I was only bringing it back to do an exchange for a different lotion, as this brand was not adequate for my needs. It had not been used. Irene said only the manager could authorize an exchange and so she called him over. His name was Sergio Ramero. He looked closely at the bottle I had brought in and then walked away, without explanation, to see if he could locate the same bottle on the store shelf. Before coming back to me he then went into a back-office with the bottle. When he returned a few minutes later (btw, I had no idea where he went or what he was doing) his attitude was that he couldn't justify giving me an exchange because, according to him, that product had not been sold in his store for the past month. I explained to him that that might be true because I did, in fact, purchase it approximately a month before. We didn't disagree about that, however, he also said that he was not going to do the exchange because he couldn't tell that it was even purchased in "his" store. I asked him to simply scan the UPC code or other bar-coded information on the bottle in order to verify that the product came from "his" store. He said, in no uncertain terms, in fact, angrily, that he wouldn't and that there was no information on the bottle that would indicate it even came from Walgreens. At that point I then offered my credit card that I used for the original purchase in order to try tracking Walgreens system as a way of verifying the purchase and he said again "no", that Walgreens isn't a Target-type operation that can do that. By now I had become frustrated at not only his responses, but his demeanor, his attitude towards me, and his overall lack of customer-oriented skills. He just didn't grasp the concept that I was there, as a customer, (I already had several items I was planning on purchasing before his involvement) whose purchase not only effect Walgreens' financial bottom-line, but that I was indirectly contributing to his own salary and benefits. He finally, and with a great deal of consternation, said he would give me a 'store-credit' for the bottle I was returning, and I then told him that a credit was the same to me as an exchange, which was all I wanted to do in the beginning! He never got it! After I told him that and asked why he was being as belligerent as he was, he then changed his mind about giving me the store-credit and told me to take the bottle to another Walgreens and if I had a problem with him I should come back and tell it to his boss, the store manager. He was clear that he would not, under any circumstances, allow me to do any kind of exchange in "his" store. I emphasis "his" because he was pretty adamant that he was the "boss" and it was "his" store, and that things happened there according to his dictate. So sad! I hope that Walgreens or someone associated with Walgreens, either as part of corporate management, corporate customer service, or any stakeholders in Walgreens doesn't take this complaint lightly. This guy Sergio, is NOT doing the name of the business any good with the attitude he displayed to me today. I am absolutely sure that from what I experienced today, that I am NOT the only Walgreens customer in our area who has had the misfortune of dealing with Sergio and has left the store with nothing less than a bad taste in their mouth because of it. My experience also left me feeling like he thought I was a common criminal trying to scam the store... Too bad that his people-skills are as lacking as they are. As consumers, we come to stores like Walgreens to spend hard-earned money on goods offered and expect at least to be treated like we're appreciated. Today Walgreens didn't treat me like a valued customer...and with a Rite-Aid, A CVS and a Costco and a Sam's Club all within a mile of this particular Walgreens, the choice is pretty easy to NOT return to this Walgreens for anything, especially if it means running into an attitude like the one displayed by Sergio Ramero...

I also have a problem with this type of situation. Store employees, even the pharmacy, If you could read the comment listed I would appreciate it. Thank you for posting that, I thougt I was the only unfortunate sole to have such a misfortunate experience as well. I do not shop at this store any more, and will never buy another item there again. Its ### like in the world, and they don't own it. I would have poured the lotion all over the counter and said ok bye. Clean it up ###, I hate this store and I plan to have someone fired from this store! Good luck.

Walgreens employee complaint

I was an employee of Walgreens for over ten years. I Complained to store and regional managment about the cutting of staff because of inability to take care of customers in a timely maner. Store managment told me to call for managment help when needed, they never showed up. The regional managment told me that customer service was not a priority and do not stay after your shift time, or you will be written up.
NOTE: to all Walgreens employee's watch your back, do your job, don't go out of your way to help, and keep looking for better employment. This company will discard you like the trash. Profit sharing is a joke . When you try to contact them in bed with J.P.Morgan(listed as one of top five companies for worst customer service) took almost sixty day's to transfer my money, and thirty day's just to tell Walgreens Profit sharing that was no longer employed. I even had a customer leave a thank you card with the pharmacy manager and somehow it got thrown out (Pretty Low). This company has nothing in mind but PROFITS. Find a small pharmacy that has the customer in mind, if you can.

so today I go to Walgreens to make sure I got everything and to get the award plaque I earned two months ago but never got it. I was told they were waiting on the manager Emily who never does her job and comes to the store. The response I was giving is you no longer work for the company so I and Emily thro it away. Way to go Walgreens keep up the good work you take advantage of your employee's and then when you got them bent over you give it to them full force with NO LUBE. Best choice I ever made was getting out of that company and moving on.

there has been so much unfair practices in this store Im not sure where to start, but Mr.James came in to speak with me about a written statement that was given to him by my manager Ms.Ash who encouraged the employee to write it and instead of talking to me to find out if there was any truth to this she sent it straight to top .then she encouraged a fairly new employee to write another statement on a totally different issue about me as well, this employee took everything she had told me and said I said those things to her. Nevertheless I was told to take off find another location to work from by the district manager .This store 9473 lost 5 employees within the last month and the manager and her lead did the same thing to another employee a few months ago including asking me to write a statement against that employee, this lead threaten to do things to her yet this lead was never relieved of her job . The issues at this store is with the manager and her lead but they consistently blame all others . I feel this company has major issues had fault everyone but the real factors.

No one not directly coded for the pharmacy can enter a pharmacy. That is state law. So, no a store manager can not enter a pharmacy.

Not sure where this comes from. No one will ever become a Walgreens store manager without passing or obtaining the required certification to enter the pharmacy. Obviously the requirements vary from state to state, but ALL store managers, and most other management have recieved the certifications to do so. I have personally known lower management members who have been "let go" (fired) because they didnt pass the required tests. It is a mandatory requirement for the position.

Profit sharing basically puts your money in a locked account, and once you leave the ### company they fee you to death taking the half they put in. Walgreen's scams their employees. Ever since they eliminated the EXA position and made shift leads, ASMTs, etc, the company has really turned to a money hungry ### hole.

Store managers are not allowed to be in the pharmacy doing pharmacy work unless they are either a pharmacist or a tech, so why they would tell you to call them for help is beyond me. If you are a tech then you know only pharmacy personnel are to be in the pharmacy area.

Walgreens walgreens going down the drain

Walgreens once rated americas best pharmacy is becoming the worse day by day –ughh just thinking of how they treat their employees make me sick –its time they have independent bodies doing the loss prevention work –the internal body is a total mess they are all so corrupt when they are supposed to be investigating matters instead they are sharing the info with the same people involved. They clearly have the favorites and their untouchable people who just collect a paycheck every month and dont do anything but play the system. Sum store managers are almost never in their stores instead they only write notes arrive late and take 3 hr lunches and leave early they do everything thats wrong and against store policies and even tho lp is given info they fail to act up on it but yet quickly target other people. Its so disgusting but fire shall be upon them evildoers. And to all those dm’s who are covering dirt for your favorite str mgrs continue doing so it wont last.. Only time will tell less they forget that nothing lasts forever whether good or bad / they too shall have their day.. I wouldnt encourage anyone to invest their hard work and time for this company at least not anymore it used to be good but now the people who have infested it has made it a place not worthy.

I was an employee for 7 yrs, at one walgreens store in psl, Fl. I did every job that you can imagine, including asst mngr. Due to having a child w learning disabilities, and I'm a single mom. Not able to wrk everynight to close I left the mngr position went into cos, because my sons education was more priority. Plus the asst mngr position I took was based on false promises they made too me prior to accepting this position. They including a private interview w the district mnr at his office, said I'd only close like 2times per mth, he knew about my son. That store had me closing every night, my son was failing school.being the most Sr employee there, they cut my hrs to 4dys, then 3, I lost my insurance. Come to find out I was like the only employee who needed walgreens insurance, all others had their husbands or parent's. I agreed to wrk 1 nite, to reclaim my hrs, even though I wrked on Sat. Fair

scheduling is only haven to do one or the other. After 2yrs we get a new store mngr, who knew my personal situation. Within 3 wks she called me to the office to inform me that I will be wrking all 4 nites and she's not changing it! I asked her for a transfer, she NO! Then she belittled me more, saying stuff about my wrk performance, all false. I quit right there, after 7yrs! I felt very discriminated because I have a child w needs. I was not about to wrk for someone to be ther slave and think she got the best of me..

Walgreens destroyed film

I had a $2000 contract for a ten hour photo shoot and ad design. I shot 5 rolls of film, Four of which were black & white film. I took the film for processing at the local Walgreens where I have a business account. I asked the Photo Department associates if they were sure they could process the Black & white film. Both associates looked at the lable on the film and said yes, it would be no problem. Three days later I went to get my photos only to be told that all the black & white film was incorrectly processed and non-recoverable. I got a letter form the manager apologising for the error and he gave me the contact information for their insurance company, Sedgwick CMS. I subsequently had to pay back all of the money paid to me for the photography contract. The participants of the photo shoot and the client were all very angry and refused to do further business with me. I have had at least 10 conversations with Erica, who is supposed to be the Claims Specialist. I have sent documentation of my loss to Erica at Sedgwick twice. Erica has refused to cover even half of my loss. I feel that I should not have to take Sedgwick to court in order to get compensation for my loss. Sedgwick CMS collects millions of dollars from clients (supposedly) for the purpose of covering such mistakes and carelessness of employees. So why do I have to continue to waste time and money in efforts to recoup a portion of my loss?
