Prescription service
The past 2 years I have had 3 surgeries all orthopedic. Each time after surgery a pain prescription is electronically sent in by the surgeon. Our local Walgreens Sparks, NV 9705 Pyramid Way won't fill the prescription because I am on low dose tramadol for multiple bone issues. The doctors were all in surgery so in two cases I never got the pain meds until the following day. Last I broke my ankle and they would not fill the prescription without speaking with the ER Doctor. Yesterday it was for surgery for a broken ankle. They refused to fill the prescription unless they could speak to the doc. Never filled. You can teach anyone. Last week I was on hold for over 5 hrs tried 4 times. My wife and I are done with Walgreens. You suck! We will be spreading the word. Your app is half [censored] also.
Desired outcome: I have tried 2 yrs to change.
Cashier's terrible nasty attitude/service
I made a purchase with my debit card at Walgreen 8000 Madison Blvd Ste. B Madison AL, today January 6, 2023. The cashier's name Sam did not want to put my purchased items in a bag despite bags of all kinds at the check-out counter. I strongly (using some profanity) challenge him for a bag, finally he decided to get a bag. Moreover, when I ask for the receipt he REFUSED, STATING IT WENT DIGITAL the receipt however, a receipt did print I am not sure what he did with it in the middle of all the bag issue. I often buy at Walgreen and receive cash rewards; I have NEVER had a problem of this magnitude spending money with a merchant. There were three other employees standing staring of which one a man steps forward and stated he was the manager, employee - Travon, and another seasoned employee they ALL stated there was nothing they could help with. Furthermore, they could not provide the telephone number to corporate customer service. It's unbelievable. There also were other customers waiting to be assisted as the store cameras will show.
Pharmacy dispensed wrong strength
On 3/18/2022 I picked up prescriptions for my dog and they turned out to be the wrong strength. He was dispensed 32.4 mg tablets of Phenobarbital instead of 64.8 mg. He was also dispensed 8hr Keppra and it was supposed to be ER 12 hr Keppra. Because of this his seizures worsened.
Walgreens insurance said they would reimburse the vet bill of $2727.59 but I never received the reimbursement or the forms he asked me to sign.
Desired outcome: I would like to at least receive the reimbursement or maybe more for the time I have waited to receive this reimbursement. I can send copies of the vet bills if needed.
Pharmacy At 12 Bridges: in Lincoln California
On New Year's Eve 2022 9:45am. I went to my pharmacy to pick up my prescription. I was told that the old pharmacy Walgreens on 12 bridges in Lincoln, California 95648. (I transferred from 3 mounts previous) had filled my prescription there. It took a long time to work this out. Because Walgreen puts you on hold for at least 30 minutes or more, then you get...

Walgreens medication fraud
Hello, I want to report a very strange situation I was dealing at my Walgreens Pharmacy in Boulder on Valmont and 28th St. with pharmacist Brenda.
She didn't give me the bottle with Motegriti pills but she checked as she sold it to me. The medication was ready for pick up on 12/07/22. I picked up many medication on that day, because the car accident. The farmacist put all the bottles in one bag and staple it. The instructions for medications were stapled all together separate of the medications. I came home and noticed that there were all the bottles beside the Motegriti. When I came back on 12/14/22, Brenda accused me that I picked up it on 12/08/22. She gave me Certaline and took back as I have bad side affect. She told me that will make a new request as for a lost medication, but she didn't/ When I came back on 12/19/22, she refused to give me and insisted that she gave me on 12/14/22 and that she can show me on the camera. It is qualify as a fraud which is illeagal.
I want to let you know that I recorded our conversations as it is not first time when she is doing it with me and with this medication.
First time it was a year ago when she was working in the Walgreens in Boulder on 28th St and Diagonal. bac then she push me to pay this medication, even if it was covered by Medicaid. It took 2 months to get my money back, until I didn't asked Medicaid representative to help me with that.
This situation force me to change the pharmacy. Now I must to change again.
Even if I didn't do anything wrong and talked calm (the recordings confirm that as well as the police that was there), the pharmacy don't allow me to get in or park my car in their parking lot. The Pharmacy is a public place to serve people. They don't have right to not allow me to get in the pharmacy and pick my medication and buy things. They also don't have right to not allow me to park my car there. It is illegal also. It could ne a law case in court.
She also tried to creat problems with Repatha. Even if I am coming for pick up after I am getting the notification about pick up, she is not serving me and requests to come another day.
Please let me know your opinion and action that was taken regarding this situation.
Thanks,
Ala Park

Desired outcome: To provide my Motegriti pills for December. To quit Brenda as she leave clients with out medication. while she is sign them as sold. Puts their health in danger. My guess she is making a fraud.
Pharmacy
Pharmacy at 6 mile & Farmington rd, Livonia, MI. On 12-26-22 I realized that my prescription of statin drug was missing and they had refill my blood pressure medicine twice. The Pharmacist was so rude and kept insisting that I had already picked it up and they had me on camera. I asked the pharmacist how my insurance paid twice for a 90 day supply bp...

I received notice from Walgreens that my automated prescription refill was denied. I figured they just needed to update it with my later prescription. So, I decided to call them. The call started at 12:30PM. I was on hold until 1:30. At 1:30 they took a lunch break. I stayed on hold until after their break. After their break was over, I stayed on hold for about 20 minutes until 2:30 (so far 2 hrs on hold). At 2:30, they dropped my call. I called back immediately and proceeded to wait until now (3:43). Still waiting. Over 3hrs on hold and still nobody has picked up the call.
Pharmacy
12/31/2022 - latest in a continuous problem with pharmacy employees who are rude & unhelpful. They think they are superior to customers. They do not fill prescriptions when dropped off & loose prescriptions called in by doctor. Also NO managers at store on 12/31/2022. I plan to go to the local TV station with my issues with the local Walgreen's because it is on going situation.
Desired outcome: Employees in the Pharmacy need to be reprimanded, suspended & filed in employee file. They need to be sent to classes on how to treat customers. You have lost a customer because of your incompetent employees.
Prescription not filled after 3 days
I am ill with Covid-19. My Dr. authorized Paxlovid on Dec 29th with your Deerfield, NJ store. The script was promptly put on hold "need more information" and "we will contact you". It's now Dec 31st. Every attempt to call and use the chat to find out what's going on have been rebuffed. I am suffering with this virus and I NEED this drug, Your pharmacy dept won't even answer the phone. Then after speaking to the store manager, I finally got to speak to someone in the pharmacy who said it was ordered wrong. It was not ordered wrong as the order was to follow package instructions. In short I have gotten nothing but the runaround.
Desired outcome: Get Paxlovid like the Dr. ordered.
Unprofessional pharmacist
This complaint is regarding the pharmacist Rachel @ 7305 springhill Dr, springhill fl 34606. I've never had a worst experience with a pharmacist. The pharmacist here dictates her personal opinion about the medications you are on and refuses to fill them if she doesn't agree. My medication has been prescribed to me exactly the same for 6 years and I'm not on...

On Friday December 23 I called to check if my auto renewal of a scrip was ready. Since May 3, 2022 it was not. This is a scrip my dr prescribe for my migraines that are extremely crippling, like I have a hard time seeing, focusing at work, etc due to pain. I called again 12/26 when I was told that the scrip would be available it was not. I went into the store 12/27 the female at the counter repeated 3 times I can go to another store after I told her 3 times I come to this location and it should be on auto renewal and be ready monthly; there is no reason why. I do not understand how they do their job. Another female interjected as though she made a call and spoke to someone name Pam her technician she stated to see if they stopped making the medicine or was it discontinued. The male pharmacist at that location in the past has also not been able to figure out how a medicine that should be set up monthly. I have been having this experience with the people who work at this location for over 8 months. I even asked why they do not call or send text alerts. I have never had such an experience.
Desired outcome: Professional staff that knows how to place medication on auto renewal, send text alerts and messages to patients regarding updates, ensure that medication is available at monthly set times.
Vanilla gift visa card
I purchased a Vanilla Gift Card from Walgreen's and put $400 on it for a Christmas present for my husband. He tried to use it and went back to Walgreen's. They said they cannot do anything about it to call the number on the back of the card for Vanilla Gift Card. Of course, we have tried for 2 days to contact a LIVE person and guess what they never answer the phone. This is awful! So, I am just screwed no one wants or answers a phone to help!
Desired outcome: I want my $400.00 back!
Employee
I was as in Walgreens at 8959 International Dr Orlando, FL on the 21st of Dec. around 12:30 AM, I was looking at Melatonin and other sleepaids, I had only been in the store a few minutes, before I made my selection and was leaving that area when I got approached by one of your workers, who demanded I opened my purse. I don’t want to get anyone fired, especially around Christmas, so I will refer to the person as them or they. I was so taken back by their request, but I obliged and told them they could go through it (my purse), to which they declined and tried to explain that from the camera’s angle it looked like I put something in my purse, and blamed it on the camera being blurry. They pointed in a direction where the camera supposedly was, but I think they may have been referring to the mirrors/ reflective discs, you have in the corners of the ceiling. There’s no way they had a chance to review security footage, then approch me. I was in the store for only a few minutes, and the majority of the time, they were right next to me stocking shelves.
I have never in my life been accused of shoplifting before and I felt like I was going to cry. It made me self-conscious, like maybe I looked like [censored], I re-examine my outfit. I know I don’t put the effort in like I did before I was a Mom , I just don’t have the time or energy. I still believe that had to be the reason because I had done nothing that could be misconstrued for stealing. I never went into my bag to get my phone or check to make sure I have money, etc., if I had, then I wouldn’t be taking this so personal, but I hadn’t, and was literally in the store for a few minutes.
This encounter put a damper on the rest of my evening and it was our last night of Vacation. I was in the store almost every night during my visit and that same clerk had checked me out before, on a $40.00 -50.00 transaction. What thief spends that kind of money only to come back the next night to steal vitamins?
Either way, I think you need to re-train your employees on loss prevention, because I know that was not proper protocol of any store. I’ve been shopping at Walgreens once or twice a week for years and years, there’s always one in close proximity to my house, but I will not go back for a while if ever again. The clerk seemed competent in other regards and I don’t want to have anyone fired or written up, just re-trained so they don’t humiliate any other innocent shoppers.
Warm Regards,
Jennifer Williams
Desired outcome: Train employees on external theft/ loss prevention
No information available on paxlovid script holdup for 3 days.
I am ill with Covid-19. My Dr. authorized Paxlovid on Dec 21, Wed. The script was promptly put on hold "need more information" and "we will contact you". It's now Dec 23, Friday. I am suffering with this virus and I NEED this drug, at least you can tell me what the problem is so I can try and fix it. Please, I'm begging here.

People constantly park in handicap spaces without a handyplaye or placarf
Today I went to store 13454 and drove to look for a handicap space. There were none available 2 vehicles were parked without any plate or placard displayed. This isn’t the first time I’ve had this issue at that store.
I’m handicap and I have days that are good and days that are difficult.
I got my items and once it was my turn to checkout I asked for the manager. There was a women in line who had commented to another customer “ Those are all gone, I work here and looked myself.†The manager arrived and I told him my situation. Once, I stated my issue the same women commented,†What you should do is report it when you enter so they can page the person.†I didn’t acknowledge her as I was talking to the manager.
I explained this is a frequent problem and that I realize drivers are doing this. I suggested perhaps they could occasionally monitor the lot.
The manager never gave me his name or apologized.
I got to the door and saw stead in the car which I turned and told the cashier. I had also gotten the plate number of the van.
Once I left I saw the women offering advice same one who stated she worked there get into the passenger seat of the illegally parked van. The driver had lowered her window to say†She’s just walking like that!â€
Yes, I have a limo at times it’s more pronounced than others. However, your helpful employee should’ve told her friend Not to park there since she was so knowledgeable. The manager strongly lacks any skills in dealing with the disabled.
I was at the store at about 6:00om 12/21.
Desired outcome: Disability training , better patrol of the parking lot, an apology
Walgreens on Glenoaks in FanFernando/Sylmar
I have been assigned to this store per my insurance. I have been using their rx for 13 years. The people /supervisors they currently have are incompetant, rude, non caring. etc. There are many times I have been so frustrated doing business with them. My rx have remained basically unchanged. One of them. Wellbutrin generic but there is only one that works for me. That is PAR manufacturer. It is noted on my file there and often times they can't get it from PAR, yet nobody calls to tell you that there is a problem. Today I wanted to check on another rx which I called in Dec.12,2022 and thusfar it is still incorrect. On this particular rx it is Brand only. I was able to pick up a partial (8) only. turns out they are a generic I have never used. He did not seem to care that it was bit brand rx, and only partial. I spoke with him this partticular incident and he stated that the staff isn't necessarily checcking the info on our cards/files. And then ;he hung up on me after I had waited a long time to talk to anybody. I experience these mistakes frequently. I would appreciate your support.

Desired outcome: Find more competent prople to work there. Other than Rebecca, the Supervisors have been incompetent These kind of problems should not be acceptable.
Unprofessional conduct by pharmacy staff/lack of knowledge
December 19,2022;Approx. 2 pm
I received two text messages about my rxs. One saying problem with insurance and the other one is ready for p/u. I go to the drive-thru and the person tells me the rx has been denied by insurance which seemed a bit strange because it was a standard generic antibiotic. The clerk told me I needed to contact my insurance company. I called the pharmacy line at my insurance company and they told me no rxs had been submitted to my insurance today. I went back to walgreens and went inside the store to speak to someone about the insurance information. I also checked the Good Rx price to see if it was worth it to pursue insurance by this time I had spent 2 hours working on this issue. I called Walmart and asked them to call to transfer the Rx. I then went to the cashier and she told me both rxs went through insurance when she did it. I asked her to let the other people behind the counter to tell walmart I didn’t need to transfer the rx now because it went through insurance. I then waited 25 minutes and received a text that 2 Rxs were ready for p/u. I waited in line 15 minutes more then when I got to the cashier there was only one rx in the bag. The cashier asked the pharmacist where the antibiotic was and she said it wasn’t in the system anymore and another person behind the counter said it was transferred to Walmart. I paid for the one Rx and left the store. It is now 5:00 pm and I still do not have my antibiotic. I hope to get it from Walmart later this evening I hope it was really transferred. Three hours have been taken from me today because a staff member at the Chapin, SC store did not put an rx through the insurance system correctly and was not willing to go ask another staff member how to fix it. I will never use this pharmacy again and I hope other people’s time isn’t getting stolen like mine was today. Please train your staff at this location this is the 4th time I have had an issue at this store.
Desired outcome: Fix the problems!
Today my daughter ( adult), was released from a nursing home with Severe chronic copd Nursing home gave her copys of what was sent to her Walgreens Pharmacy. Plus 2 written scripts that had to be given to Pharmacist. One of witch was a nebulizer, which required use 4x a day or as needed. After 20 min on a line to give the rx, I left and came back 2 hrs later. One script for her pills was filled but Had to wait for nebulizer. I asked if the solution was in the bag for the nebulizer and said no they had no rx for it. I said to the lady you received a 4 page list from the nursing home this morning with the approval of the necessary medicines. At that time she sad we never got it from the nursing home, I dont know weather they did or not but believe they did but she said there is no use arguing with me as I cant fill it with out an RX. Question the nursing home gve two hand written scripts, one of which was this nebulizer machine, WHY IN HEAVENS SAKE WOULD THEY WRITE A PRESCRIPTION FOR A NEBULIZER IF SHE DID NOT HAVE THE SOULUTION TO PUT IN IT. So she is going at home all day with no treatment , was told to call nursing home nurse to fill it, but by that time they were gone. Pray she makes it through the night as this pharmacy as well as that nursing home should be closed, Life means nothing to them. Horrible Horrible places and any Pharmacist worth their salt would have called that Nursing home to inquire. Not wait for me to show up and tell me no script for the medication that the nebulizer uses. And I would have to call them in the morning. I had to wait on Line for 45 minutes just to drop the RX off and went back 2 hrs later to get this. She had to 2 hand written scripts with the facilities information . Tish place should be closed before they kill someone.
Pharmacist at Store #17302
December 19, 2022 before noontime I went to pharmacy with a receipt for a refund. Ive tried several times to connect with "John", the only one who could process my refund. He took the receipt and immediately started coming up with weird excuses about the refund and how long it would take him to process this and why didnt i go thru insurance to refund and he needed the rx numbers (which were right on my receipt) and boy he just didnt want to help me today! He acted like a child that didnt want to come in after supper. I was embarrassed for him. He seemed off, like he wasnt processing what I needed done. It was simple. I went in on November 13, 2022 after leaving the hospital. I had several prescriptions for an antibiotic ( i had tick infection) and diabetic meds ( just found out I was diabetic in hospital). I needed a glucose monitor, etc. Well it was a Sunday and my insurance card wouldnt work. So they suggested I pay out of pocket and just keep my receipt to bring back to this "John" for refund. And thats it. I would like my $54.02 back please. He acted like it was going to come out of his own pocket. I will be changing pharmacies. No way I want him filling any of my meds! Thank you
Desired outcome: Please refund my $54.02 and maybe give your pharmacist some kindness lessons or customer service class or tell him to do his job and not complain about how hard it will be to the customer.
Pharmacist
I went into Walgreens in Lafayette, LA on the corner of Johnston and South College with a prescription for NORCO for my wife. She has been on this prescription for over 3 years for back pain. I gave the script to the girl behind the counter, she then showed it to another employee and then showed it to a pharmacist. The pharmacist without leaving her station asked me if my wife has cancer I told her no, then the pharmacist told me she would have to contact the doctor to get a diagnosis.
Since when did a pharmacist become a doctor? I took the script and went to CVS and had it filled out in 10 minutes.
First, the pharmacist should not have asked those questions, and second, the pharmacist should have discussed this with me at the consultation window.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response and acknowledgment someone spoke with the pharmacy staff at this location.
There is a few things i can gather from this event. that specific Walgreens may have had a few "fake" prescriptions [not saying yours is] in the past and got in trouble for it. them asking may also have been rules for that specific drug that the company [Walgreens] was told should be done for verification. as for her calling the doctor it is to verify the doctor actually requested it and is a doctor [again this may have been faked in the past].
even with a legal prescription in the past at CVS/Walgreens/Publix i have and still do get asked randomly for details to verify that i need my meds due to the classification of them.
