I’ve been a Starbucks regular since 2001, and over the years I’ve lived in six different states — Michigan, Arizona, California, Illinois, Texas, and South Carolina — in more cities than I can even remember. I also traveled for work about 80% of the time, from the Florida Keys up to Maine and throughout the Midwest. With all that moving and traveling, I’ve visited more Starbucks locations than I could ever count.
I’ve met great baristas at so many other locations over the years, but the Woodruff, SC Starbucks — on North Main and Fairground Road — has stood out in a way I didn’t expect.
This store consistently reflects the kind of customer service Starbucks is known for at its very best — warm greetings, genuine kindness, and a level of consistency that makes you feel seen. What meant the most to me is that they made me feel welcome long before I ever became a regular. There’s a calmness here, and a kindness you feel right away. The way this team works together creates an atmosphere that’s steady, friendly, and dependable, even on the busiest days. The quality is always there, and the care they put into every interaction is something you don’t forget. **It’s rare to find a store that feels this steady, this kind, and this genuinely welcoming.**
**A special shout‑out to two former team members who truly left an impression:**
**Andrew** and **Koby** — thank you for the kindness and consistency you brought to this store.
**And to the incredible women who make up the current team:**
**Amelia, Cole, Collette, Julia, Kendra, Kenny, Kim, Maegan, and Nikki.**
If I didn’t spell every name perfectly, please know the gratitude is sincere.
Anyone I haven’t mentioned is either new or someone I simply haven’t had the chance to get to know yet — and I’m sure they’ll be just as wonderful.
As I prepare to move, leaving this store behind is harder than I expected. These baristas have been a bright spot in my days — steady, kind, and genuinely uplifting. I’m grateful for every smile, every small moment of connection, and every cup made with care. This store has been a quiet blessing during my time in Woodruff.
If you’re anywhere near Woodruff, stop by the Starbucks on North Main and Fairground Road. It’s warm, it’s welcoming, and it’s Starbucks at its very best.
