Same complaint as many people here. Hard drive malfunctioning, Package box says "Data Recovery Services Included", but the web site for accessing the service says no such service is available for the serial number of my drive. Impossible to contact anyone at Seagate - there is no telephone number available on their website that connects with anyone live.
Claimed loss: $350 for the hard drive, incalcuable for the inaccessible data on the drive.
Desired outcome: Data recovery
