I agree in total about the passport website. Government claims to have streamlined the issue of passport through ON-LINE application but this online never works. Instead of people crowding in the passport office, they are crowding in the internet, just unable to log in. I have registered and submitted my application with great difficulty, later luckily got the appointment date. But subsequently could not log on to the website at all with a valid user name and password. Why cant the Government authorities look into these kind of problems first instead of going and licking the ### of opposition parties? It is not an achievement to display the MEA, S M Krishna's photo in the first page of the website. But to be frank, it is not the only website which is there for the sake of showing their achievements, even the Railway website is also the same. These people just create websites to show their achievements and never upgrade the same. THEY BETTER SIT AT HOME and enjoy their retirement life rather create nuisances to the ordinary people in the name of "governance".. USELESS GOVERNMENT AND USELESS MINISTERS...

every time i try to login, its comes up with incorrect password. it is really the worst site i've ever visited. please authorities try to resolve the issue since i m unable to print the completed form so that i can go prepared at the time of my appointment.

my name TARSEM SINGH. i applied my passport 21/08/2012. my file number- CHD070416043012, d.o.b- 29/06/1972. police clearence done by- 30/08/2012. i didn't receive my passport yet.i need my passport very urgent please check and send my passport as soon as possible. my email- manjeetrailandbuild@hotmail.co.uk

I have been trying to log into the PP portal for more than a couple of hours now already and I get the registration link in my mail as well...but later it is not allowing me to log in. Web portal mentions that the ID is incorrect or password is incorrect. Tried using forgot password link, asks for birth date and when entered, it says that is incorrect. "Now you will tell me when I was born?" The portal was on maintenance a week back, and after corrections you come up with such glitches ... its a shame

FOR PASSPORT APPOINTMENT'S FIND ME AT [protected]

Seva kendra in constituted with a noble intention to help the public and to speed up the passport matters. In effect this was derailed.
Passport holder obtained the passport before marriage. After marriage she applied for reissue of passport including spouses name.
2 months after application got an appointment at Thripunithura seva Kendra at Heera Roayal at Ernakulam District under Cochin passport office.
Ministry of External affairs web site advises in such cases the attested copy of tyhe marriage certificate OR joint affidavit OR Annexure K affidavit is required to be produced with exsting Passport. ( Doc. No. 8017 and 8025 or 8063 or 8086)
But the clerk or attendant on table insisted for SSLC Book. WHAT FOR? when the passport is valid. Applicant again went back for the SSLC book. This is not SEVA - Who will take action against the Tripunithura SEVA KENDRA STAFF for this unwanted demands with unholy intentions?

TCS AND PASSPORT OFFICE GUYS ARE TOTALLY CORRUPT. THE TCS GUY MET ME OUTSIDE THE PSK HE ASKED ME BRIBE OF RS.3000/- FOR GETTING ME APPOINTMENT AND ALSO TOLD ME I DO NOT HAVE TO COME TO PSK HE WILL DIRECTLY MANAGE THE PASSPORT OFFICER ALSO .
I THINK THIS GOVT IS TOTALLY CORRUPT THEY ARE FINDING DIFFERENT WAYS OF MAKING MONEY FROM PEOPLE SO THEY STARTED THIS STUPID PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA CONCEPT. EARLIER PASSPORT OFFICE WAS MUCH DECENT AND BETTER, IT SEEMS RATAN TATA AND GOVT HAS NO OTHER BETTER WORK TO DO NOW.

I have been trying to get an appointment without any success. It looks like we are taken for a ride. May be this is the way they force you to go to agencies. It is a clear case of nexus. Why are the great IFS officers of the External Affairs Ministry exhibiting such lack of interest in being of service to fellow citizens? Are they callous or greedy? Or both. Why cant they like the Railways scrap Tatkal bookings by agents? I BELIEVE THIS IS BECAUSE THEY ARE BRAINLESS ###S.
