Gwinnett County Jail Scamming loved ones and restricting inmates

Inmates are being kept on a 24 hour lock down for days at a time. My loved one has complained to being locked in a room for 24 hours for 5 days. He has been unable to communicate to family and loved ones and unable to speak to any outside family. I have paid for video call sessions that he did not attend but when I call the jail they explain his visitation is perfectly fine and he’s allowed visitation. He has never missed one voluntarily and would always make his video calls being that’s the main way we communicate. I have been ripped off for my money by setting these video calls to not have him join with no explanation. Gwinnett couty is scamming loved ones out of their money and not providing the most care to their inmates. A investigation needs to be held regarding why inmates are not joking visits and why inmates are being held on 24 hour lock down if there is nothing wrong.

Gwinnett County Jail No care for inmates at all

I have a loved one who is locked up in Gwinnett county jail & he informed me that you guys keep having excessive lock downs idk why y’all keep doing that knowing jail is an awful place do you evil people have any care for humans at all. After all he is important & he is a human. We all make mistakes just because somebody is in jail doesn’t mean they deserve cruel treatment. Locking the inmates up for days may have an impact on inmates mental health but the evil cops don’t care lol it’s like y’all get that job to be [censored]s because y’all just miserable & ugly inside. I’ve been calling everyday even in the morning & y’all send the phone straight to voicemail. What type of sheriff office is this? Y’all need to get this crap under control. Start being more considerate & think about what if that was you or your loved one would you want them to be treated like that ? & why do y’all need to charge so much for the inmates fees when I want to put money on his books. Y’all chose that job if don’t pay enough get a better one but don’t be trying to take out money that’s for our inmates. I can’t stand the police system & I can’t wait for the release of my loved one. Y’all treat them like they not important yes they made mistakes but God forgives. Only miserable people apply to be a cop smh those who find enjoyment in others misery smh. God is watching always remember that. I might have to pop up at the Gwinnett county jail if this prolongs in January & if my loved one is still in there hopefully not.

Gwinnett County Jail Police and jail

I am 7 months pregnant with my second child. My firstborn is 13 months old and since living in Georgia (a little over a year now) I have been constantly harrassed and attacked (with many video evidence) by an older woman who is severely mentally ill. She was evicted in the past after months of terrorizing me and my family... she comes back and the police does NOTHING. (Even the judge was wondering why we had to go through an eviction process since she pays no rent, has no lease, was trespassing, and even deemed her mentally unstable) Each time she attacks one of us (3 times while I was pregnant, first time was 2 weeks before I delivered my firstborn son), the police show up and do nothing. The ONE time she was finally arrested was after she attacked my sister with a hammer! My sister caught it all on video as well and they gave her a slap on the wrist and was only charged with "family violence" and was released later that night. She will scream, slam things, throw things, and attacks us right in front of my 1 year old! Police does nothing. Just recently she came home at 4am, drunk, screaming and slamming things (my sister had company over and this woman freaked out over it) she woke my son up and he was screaming and shaking, I had to calm him down and then she came back upstairs and woke him up again while getting in me, my sister, and her bfs faces. Im 7 months pregnant, blocking her from my sons room, asking her to calm down and that she is scaring her GRANDSON, She runs up to me yelling and in fear for myself, my son, and my unborn child I pushed her off and away from me which causes her to fall (didn't help she was extremely drunk). She called the cops and since she had a mark on her face and I didn't I WAS ARRESTED! I was arrested for defending myself against this VERY hostile and dangerous woman. My sister and her bf were witnesses to this altercation and the police had NO interest in talking with them since I was related to one of the witnesses! I have NEVER been arrested before, I have always been a good person and the police were told many many times of the issues here as well as presented with video evidence in the past and they decide to arrest a 7 month pregnant woman because it was a "he said she said" scenario and I wasn't left with any marks. I had to sleep on the cell floor, water didn't work in the cell, and there is an toilet with a camera facing it. Not a single person there cared that I was put there in self defense and was pregnant and I had 1,300 bail and was charged with the SAME charge as the woman who attacked some one with a hammer. This system is messed up! Police are supposed to protect and serve but they've failed me and my family many many times. I'm losing more and more faith in humanity as well as the "justice" system.

This is long but I need help and I am grasping at straws at this point. I have reached out to the sheriff, the head of medical at Gwinnett County Jail, the Gwinnett County Police Department, the major of Mental Health at the Jail, the lead Physician at the jail, the Warden for the state correction system, my husbands court appointed attorney…and the...

Gwinnett County Jail jail

The cops were very mean in Norcross. After I got verbally attacked by a group of cops I was put in handcuffs, while they continued to treat me terribly and searched my van accusing me of illegal drugs, which I did not have. All I had was my prescription medications from my doctor. They did the breathalyzer test on me and checked my water and I had ZERO alcohol that day. Then they just make assumptions and one of them said "were you using the gps I just took out?" I said no, and that the GPS I was using was out in between the front seats. I said I had two old gps systems and one new gps system in my car. Then when a cop found a phone charger, he said "you have LOTS of phones", and I didn't. I just had one phone. Then when I got to the jail it was terrible. The cops were very mean as well. They keep the rooms so cold that everyone is freezing. They would not give me water all day long, when I repeatedly asked for water. Even the cop wouldn't give me water before I got to jail. Also they did not let me make a brief phone call before I got to jail. Some of the phones do not even work at the jail, , so good luck trying to call to get out of there. I told them I have anxiety medications but they wouldn't even let me have them, since I was feeling very claustrophobic in the back seat, handcuffed with my hands behind my back and even a bug was on my lap and I could not move it off since I was handcuffed. When I told the cop he didn't care. The cop ignored me half of the time when I tried to speak in the cop car. He was driving very fast, and texting to a woman on his phone. I could tell it was a woman since I read his string of texts. What I don't understand is why is a cop allowed to text while driving, yet I'm not allowed to text while driving? I got so thirsty I had to drink out of the sink in the room, since they refused to give anyone water. The first cell had scraps of toilet paper on the floor, was very filthy, and even had discards of people's food from a prior time period. Then they moved us to another cell to "clean the cell", but it wasn't done well when I came back to the first cell. Also I don't understand why there is no hand soap or hand sanitizer in the cell. Using the toilet was done with no privacy, and we couldn't even wash our hands afterwards. Plus the whole cell was dirty, and the benches were so uncomfortable they made everyone's necks hurt. They treated everyone terribly, screaming at inmates left and right. Of course looking out of the cell I see a bunch of cops not really doing much. One cop took a BIG sip of water in a big water bottle right in front of us, suffering with no water. Also, there was hand sanitizer available for all of the cops, and one woman spent 30 minutes disinfecting her desk I was told by an inmate. Also I did not have my cell phone so my phone was left in my van at a wrecking site, and a cop wouldn't let me use the phone coming out of jail. So I had to ask two people in the waiting room to please let me use their cell phones, since I didn't have one. Then they don't even tell me where my van is at, and gave me a list of numbers to call. I called a bunch and my van wasn't there. Hopefully I find the van today. I don't even know yet how much my bill will be to get my van back.

They assaulted me! I had my hands-up in the universal signal of surrender. they tazed me and I flew up 2 feet in the air and back 10+ feet. I continued to request medical care due to high blood pressure and a heart condition for over 15 minutes while wedged in my car door. I was bleeding from my elbow. I was denied medical care, held for 3 weeks in solitary confinement without a lawyer and it has all been covered it up! I still limp and no investigation! police/fire reports don"t match! I never saw a fire truck or ambulance! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e25owq7o7tm
