On 08-24-08 I called Freetricity.com and purchased two E2D Windmaster wind turbines and a grid power converter system for a total 0f $5704.00. Carl Vettes, the owner of Freetricity told me it would take 6-8 weeks for shipping. After 10 weeks went by I began to look online and see customers had been having issues with the products from Freetricity. These issues included poor quality, missing parts, extended ship times. I called Freetricity and advised Carl over the phone I was cancelling my order. He guaranteed me a full refund and said it would be mailed out by check on 11-27-08. I did not receive a refund. I then received an email stating my refund would be mailed out on 12-05-08. I have still not received a refund as of 12-15-08. Carl will not answer my calls or return any messages. I have him stating on a recorded line and on email that per his companies policies I am entitled to a full refund, however I have not and can no longer get in contact with him. I have no product and am out $5704.00 this is theft and fraud. Also I believe he is using false advertising to help sell his product as the home page of his web site says his company and product will be featured on the Discovery channel's Planet Green show this fall. I have contacted Discovery's legal department and they stated that this is not true. Check his BBB rating in CA. Look at all the other complaints out there. Buyer beware!

ripped off
Stay away from this business and this man. I learned the hard way as he now has a large amount of my money and I have basically nothing in return. ( Well if you count 2 broken down wind generators that don't work as something) I am now working hard to get my investment back through the court system. Do not get taken in by this company. Read other sites and check their BBB reports as well.

Unfortunately this does not surprise me considering the US company is part of the UK company FREETRICITY PLC...seems they are now practising their despicable customer services internationally...
I am also expecting to have to take these vile people to court.
Total Scam
Company sells small wind turbines and distributorship territorys for same. No matter how many units you order they may eventually send you one unit. the units do not and cannot work. They send you the one unit as this takes it from criminal to civil situation. The owner uses at least six diffrent names and has done a similar scam at least one time before...

To the poster above regarding Freetricity Plc in the UK -
FREETRICITY PLC DO NOT OFFER A QUALITY SERVICE ! THYE ARE THE VILEST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO ENCOUNTER.
2 years and 2 months ago they installed solar panels at my property and in doing so caused extensive damage.
To date they have failed to undertake their legally binding duty to repair that damage and offered a litany of excuses and insults to avoid doing so.~
Basically they are charm itself when they are looking to make money from you but when it comes to afterwards they do not even meet the basic levels when it comes to fair and reasonable customer treatment
And I would advise anyone who has had this company instal anything to get their property checked for damage...particularly the roof rafters !
DEAL WITH FREETRICITY PLC OF UK AT YOUR PERIL
This is a US company. There is a new company in the UK that started in 2011, also called Freetricity. There website is Freetricity.net, but they offer a quality service. They are really people that you can trust. I got in contact with them and they got everything sorted quickly and efficiently!
