Dropped package off Friday at 2:40PM. I was given a receipt with a clear understanding of the importance of delivery late Saturday or Monday AM the latest.
Monday noon, the package still had not shipped from Payson.
Clerk said that I had "missed the shipment on Friday" but my receipt showed a timestamp 2 hours before the 4:00 PM pick-up.
When I drove to town today to get the package, the Manager did not even offer to refund the cost of shipping that never happened. She stated that they had already been "billed" and their power was out. Period.
Claimed loss: I retrieved my package and will be driving it south to the client in Sahuarita.
Desired outcome: A simple refund of $38.42 would have been appreciated. I am now driving my package (200+ miles each way) - a delayed deadline for an angry customer.
