Petco Misrepresentations with website and repeat delivery sales and customer service failures

During the Spring 2020 (January or February 2020) I and Petco agreed to a repeat delivery and charges associated with two cases (48 cans) of Royal Canine Mother and Baby Cat, Ultrasoft Mousse in 5.8 oz cans every other month after having a great deal of problems ordering this "Repeat delivery" sold initially with a discount. After several repeat deliveries every other month and around August 2020 I spoke directly to custo er service and said that would be the last repeat delivery, cancelling the service. Petoc sent another 2 cases in September 2020 I called again and cancelled but did pay for the 2 cases sent. In November Petco sent the 2 cases again and charged my Bank of America account. I called customer service again cancelled and requested a refund, I returned the two cases and awaited the return. In December 2020 Petco sent another case (2hich I refused at my mailbox, returned the package yet Petco charged my Bank of America account and I called requesting Petco stop charging my account, stop delivering the product and refund my account. Petco was unapologetic for the last several months continuing to send and charge my bank account without authorization for the unwanted product. In December 2020 I filed a claim with Bank of America who resolved the issue in my favor. I continue to recieve 2-8 email offers from Petco, so in March I logged in on line to order a product to be delivered to my mailbox a UPSstore, in 2-4 days instead it arrived in 2-3 hours and a driver called me stating he was going to leave my package outside the UPSstore I asked him to just go inside and leave it with a staff member. Very odd and then Petco charged me for hand delivery and other charges when I did not request that type of expedited delivery. Thinking this 2as another glitche with Petco online platform I called Pet co to resolve the issue and they did in addition they made further promises in discounts to reactivate the 'Repeat Delivery' of the last year and kept stating it had corrected the problems I encountered last year with monthly deliveries verses every other month. On or about May 10th 2021 I tried to order on line but found Pet on platform extremely difficult so I called customer service. I asked to speak to a member of the US based sales team and was connected to a person who repeatedly stated she was a supervisor but after only a few minutes it became very evident she was not a trained sales person as she repeatedly spoke over me, interrupted me demanded that I use "a different zip code to place the order (2 cases of 5.8 oz RC Babycat)" and said that the product was not available in my area but was available in other areas. I asked several times for her to escalate the call but she didn't want to and kept repeating she was a "supervisor". After struggling with her for over 45 minutes to an hour she finally said she would escalate the call after another 10 mi use + wait connected me to a Lisa who had customer service skills awho apologized and said she would assist in placing my order for repeat delivery f RC 5.8 oz cans she found but with apology said she had to offer me 4 cases of 3 oz cans instead of the 5.8 oz cans until she could get IT to fix the problem before the next delivery date (2 months from May 14th (July 2021) but she also would charge me the rate of two (2) 5.8 oz cases, with free delivery and asked to charge my card the amount of $55.57 including tax and that amount it was deducted from my bank of america account at that time, as she said the four (4) cases of 3 oz size cans would arrive in 2-4 days.. Four hours later Petco sent an email to me cancelling this order without explainantion, that I didn't recieve until Sunday afternoon... I read this email over the weekend and tried calling Petco customer service (CS) four times the 1st time I was placed on a 1.5 hour hold, the second a similar result the 3rd time (Monday) the Petco representative assured me she would resolve the issue herself verses escalating the call and promised to call and email me the resolution saying "I will take ownership of this issue and promise you I will call and email you a resolution.". I never received either a call or email. The 4th time I called CS I was told that the product was cancelled because I filed a claim/complaint with my Bank of America in December 2020 and until I recant and/or reverse Bank of America's finding against Petco in my favor Petco will not corrected this issue. Petco repeatedly misrepresents offers on line, and over the phone of its products, pricing, sales, and services, fails to train its employees and then agrees to a new agreement to charge and send product (my cat only eats RC Babycat ~ Ultrasoft Mousse) takes my money then makes false promises to resolve these problems. Instead Petco intimidates and demands I ask Bank of America to reverse its investigated decision it made against Petco - I feel illegal, unethical and wrong. I have sent numerous emails to Petco's advertised dispute resolution with the order # included (#62305670541251) and to the email cancelling my order while I have never received a response and yet I keep receiving 2 or more email offers each week including an email with a subject line Petco Listens. The email Petco Listens also received a message from me with the above case# and has not responded EVIDENTLY PETCO DOESNT LISTEN AND CONTINUES ITS MISREPRESENTATIONS while my cat suffers because of Petcos false promises and misrepresentations.

The Petco store at the Waterfront in Pittsburgh is posting reduced prices on the cat litter, then you are being charged the normal price at the register. Petco The continued requirement to wear masks in Texas' Petco stores

Please take the time as a corporation to review the CDC recommendations for people vaccinated against Covid-19. I was fully vaccinated over 2 months ago and according to the CDC I am not able to spread the disease nor am I at real risk of catching it. I am in a vulnerable population as I have had Stage II, breast cancer and Stage I lung cancer, however I do not intend to continue wearing a mask. Please look at the science of the disease. Please do not base your corporate decisions on left leaning liberal virtue signaling. I live in Texas where there are no mask mandates. I will be shopping at PetsMart from this time forward as they understand science and have dropped the mask requirement.

Petco Return

Hello,

I bought cat food on 3/30/2021 for $33.99 at the Novato store in California. I returned it to the store on 4/ 10/2021. The funds have not been sent to my bank account. I called the store twice asking to speak with the manager. His name is Ely. The employee, Jeff who I spoke with each time told me that that the manager is unavailable both times. The employee told me he will tell the manager and the manager will call back. Also, employee, said that I have to wait "35 days" because that is how long it takes for the money to show up in my bank account. This is completely incorrect information.

The employee's attitude towards me was dismissive both times. I am reluctant to go to the store because I feel that both the manager and employee will not help me and will not treat me with respect. My email address is:

I pad 72 $ + TIP for a very basic service. I paid for ears and teeth cleaning and dog wasn't taken care of because teeth and ears are exactly same conditions as when I brought the dog in. Petco Buying of hairless guinea pigs

Hi. My name is Kara Adkins and November last year we purchased 2 "FEMALE" hairless guinea pigs. In February, one of the guinea pigs gave birth to 3 more. So obviously not both females. I got ahold of corporate who put me in touch with the GM. At that time Carolyn Gimenez contacted me to let me know they would pat the vet bill for the female (I took her to the vet due to being so swelled, thinking it was GI Stasis. Nope), and they would neuter the male. The neutering of the male did occur after having to leave him at petco for 2 weeks. But I have submitted the vet bill to Carolyn who has stopped responding to my emails/texts. The vet bill was NOT paid as she told me it would be. I have sent her numerous copies of this bill that I paid with no response. I would like someone to contact me regarding this- someone above her.

Petco Breaking the law

This is ONLY store not acknowledging that Governor DeSantis lifted the state mandate in Florida and the mayor lifted the local mandate -- even the Boca Raton Mall has removed all mask signs. When I politely informed the staff I was told this was a private business. That's actually funny. This is a large corporate entity and there are heavy fines in Florida for businesses that throw customers out for not wearing a mask. I believe 75k for the first offense and 150k for the 2nd. You might want to let the minions know.

Petco Store cleanliness

I'm appalled! The store in Topeka, KS is filthy! The stench of urine and feces is overwhelming. The shelves are poorly stocked and merchandise is scattered everywhere! I left! I couldn't take the stench. Not sure what's happening there but the customers and their pets deserve better. I'll stick to Chewy.com for the time being.

Petco Mask requirement

In Wisconsin the mask mandate for COVID-19 has expired, but, when attempting to purchase litter supplies for our cat this evening at the West Bend location, we were required to either put on masks or leave. We left without purchasing and have no desire to give Petco any business ever again in the future. Poor customer service. Multiple studies throughout the country have proven masks don't work and, in fact, create additional health issues. Petco should not be enforcing a policy without any science to support it.

Petco Mask

I'm just letting you know I will no longer be shopping at your stores. After I cashed out On 4/14/21 the cashier harassed me about not wearing a mask. This was in the Rosenberg store. There are plenty of other pet stores I have shopped at that don't say a word about not having a mask, and they are who I will give my business to. I go to a different store because there are things your store don't have that I use, but the other places I go also have what you have, but I have gone to Petco because it's convenient. My choice is more important to me than convenience, and there is no reason for a employee to be rude.

Petco Never delivered or returned product

After waiting weeks for flooring to be shipped I called customer service who apologized and said they would mark my item as urgent. Four days later no update, just an email saying they were working on it so I called to cancel the order as it had not even been picked up yet. The next day after I canceled they took the money out of my account, 20 days after I placed the order. I have sent several emails since and I received one response saying they were sorry that I am disappointed and they have requested a refund. I am livid, to say I'm disappointed is insulting. Who do they need to request a refund from?! They took my money after the order was canceled, it's been 6 days since I canceled and it still hasn't been picked up by the shipper so why do they still have my money? At this point I consider this to be an illegal withdrawal from my bank. I have never had such an unprofessional experience with any company & I am totally disgusted with Petco.

Petco Customer service issue

I am complaining about an issue that happened last month and I have written different times to Petco as a complaint with NO response from anyone. My complaint is from when my husband and I walked into Petco in Holly Springs, NC last month. We had walked straight to the fish items because I needed a new 10-gallon tank and sand. No one, which we were seen said, anything to us about not having a mask on until we carry all the items to the register and was asked if we had a mask I said no I can not wear one. We were denied service because no mask and I can't wear one due to allergies. I believe I was poorly treated and may never go back into a Petco again. I have always shopped at Petco now I may go to Petsmart. I believe this issue needs to be handled, and I do not feel like I was of any importance there and when I received nothing back from Petco.

Petco Employee Sammi @ Serene and Eastern store

Having encountered the rude, tactless, insensitive Sammi previously, I was on my best behavior when I jokingly remarked, "Please stop raising the prices.", while completing a sale. Sammi went ballistic in a negative behavioral way. She glared at me and told me, "If you don't like it, you can take your business elsewhere!". I said, "Wow, I was just joking. '. Sammi get even madder and screamed at me,"No sale, get out of my store "and came around the counter and"Got in my face, screaming, "Get out of my store." I felt physically threatened by her closeness and psychotic behavior, waving her arms threateningly at me.
There was no need for her dictatorial, malevolent, sickening display of irrational behavior. A bad example for Petco.
Sammi refused me entry to retrieve my Chase Visa debit card also. A real power mad psycho woman. I'm 71 y.o. and Sammi disgusted me to the max! No respect, discourteous with a disgusting attitude describes your employee, Sammi

Petco Pharmacy

I ordered a medication for my dog and sent in the prescription for it. I called to update my address and the customer service rep canceled my original order and told me to put in new order and pharmacy would use my existing script on file because he personally spoke to the pharmacy. Subsequently, I received an email asking for my script and when I could not provide it because they already had it, they said they would mail it back to me and cancel my order for the 2nd time. I could reorder for a THIRD time. However, I never received my script in the mail. I called and followed up and they said that they did mail it. I asked if they had a tracking number so I could follow up with post office but they said they would not provide that information. I get notifications of all mail delivered to me and it was never delivered. Now I don't have the medicine for my sick pet and Petco said they can't do anything. They canceled my order without my permissions and then they lost my script. Awful experience and I would warn everyone to use another place. This place is awful.
