God bless my HR person who delt directly with Anthem and OptumRx. My only hope has been them (my HR) in getting my wife added to insurance. Personally, I don't like to bother someone when I should be able to get the answer myself. I have tried several times to just get an answer to a question that would appear to take minutes to answer from Optum Rx. I get being on hold for 10 minutes sometimes, but currently I have been playing phone tag with the same 3 people! 20-minute hold times mixed with "Let me direct you to another department." I call the number for assistance on answering a claim question, they direct me to the Rx Manager who Optum Rx is. Funny, I thought that's who I called? Once I give Avery, the virtual assistant, my information, he directs me to the same people I was already talking to. Then, they direct me back to Avery and so on and so forth. What an absolute joke! Currently on the phone with someone who seems like there is a brain between their ears. I was transferred between 5 people before getting here. Scammy crooks! I just need an update to a claim that was submitted 3 weeks ago.
I have videos and am taking one now to prove the craziness. I'm just... IDK man.
Recommendation: If you can, stay away!
