I had a deeply unfortunate experience in WK-2 of the 10-WK Circle of Men course. The lead facilitator acted inappropriately by favoring the side of a man of Asian descent instead of fairly addressing both sides of the disagreement which involved the two of us; I'm an American currently living in China. An agreement was reached to resolve the dispute before WK-3. That never happened and the other man left the course before WK-3. I completed the course, but the actions of the facilitator lingered without ever being resolved or discussed. As well, the supervisor of the course made no initial effort to get involved. I continued with the course after the training because my interest was to be in a men's group. It was evident to me that formal support was necessary because the men in the group appeared to show signs that what happened in WK-2 had a negative impact on them as well. The support provided ultimately resulted in me callously being removed from the group, a weak attempt in late-Jan/2023 at bringing all concerned parties together for forgiveness and everyone walking away thinking the problem was successfully solved. My request for refund was granted but my formal complaint filed in early-March was essentially shoved aside, ignored and then considered closed after four months. I was not included in the investigation of the formal complaint even though initially I was asked to schedule a time to discuss the complaint. My last email in mid-July to nine contacts was ignored by all.

Desired outcome: That the management of MKP recognize that it's very inappropriate and even dangerous to invite men to pay for emotional work trainings and then act myopic and insensitive when complicated cases occur.
