Lowe's My credit card

I have been a loyal customer for many years. I am 76 years old and spend thousands of dollars a week (especially since I moved to my new home a few years ago) I purchased all new appliances. I am an avid gardener and needed to buy all my plants and flowers and veggie plants. I buy tons of soil for my raised beds since I am on clay. In fact, I have 8 shrubs waiting to be planted now (I may just bring them back)

I was notified by my credit card company informing me today that you lowered my credit limit from 5 0r 6 thousand down to $1500.

What is the problem? I don't charge enough? I am old school and prefer cash. If you don't want me to spend my cash in your store there is always Home Depot. Very convenient for me since I go past them at least once a week in Jackson.

I have been building my credit score and it is now up to 829, I am hoping to get to 830: That will not happen now since you lowered my limit. You are ruining my credit score. Is this the way you thank a good customer? You destroy my credit? Just because I don't use my credit card in your store?

Trust me, if my credit goes down for this I will 1) stop buying from you.. 2) I will file a complaint to any and all who will listen. The ftc, bbb... etc.

Desired outcome: I would like to be restored to my original credit limit. It is not fair that you would punish a loyal customer just because I prefer to pay cash.

I am a 35+ year contractor with lots of creditworthiness and always good standing. However, Lowes did this to me recently too as did AMEX whom I've been with since 1986! Lowes CC is Synchrony Bank just like most retailers out there right now. AMEX also owns like 25-50% of Synchrony Bank too... All of it is tied to the interest rate increases by Feds recently as well as really a situation with Synchrony Bank in and of itself doing this to "entrap" people into justifying more fees, higher rates, penalties, etc.

It is criminal in my book...

We had a nearly $20,000.00 AMEX limit, customer since 1986, and out of nowhere, with only a roughly 40% weighted credit load balance around $8,000.00, they out of nowhere axed my limit by 50% ! This in effect saw my weighted average go way up near limit, which adversely affects your credit score in the process...

Lowe's Order #[protected]

I entered an order and used the rest of my gift card yall gave from my last order disaster. When selecting my items, i took the offer to spend more than 50 to get free delivery. Upon checking out, i seen a charge for delivery. Called in a spoke to the most miserable and condescending rep i have ever spoken with. who inability to correct the order, was causing me to LOSE my gift card amount I had used. Then, i requested escalated assistance and had the continued misfortune to meet yet another uninterested in helping YOUR customers, Ops Mgr (Karen) who equally was not interested in resolving the issue. The order has since been cancelled and I am paying off my Lowes card today. After which I will make sure it will never be used again. You got really out of control with your customer service during covid, that is changing now as building supplies demand drops-might want to retrain some of your over-entitled service reps! Please feel free to call if you want more detail

Desired outcome: maybe a phone? or a change in your CS Rep procedures? enforcement there of? I am unsure?

WOW! I look and read down at all the complaints coming in for LOWES and it truly begs the question: who is charge over there? are you asleep at the wheel? do you see how very many hard-working folks are disgusted with your customer service?

Well, looks lke I was indeed smart enough to make the right decision and pay off every cent of my card. I went online and got a Home Depot card- heard they are not great but their customer service is pretty good. More than anyone i have found after a night of research, can you about YOU!

Lowe's Special order doors

I ordered doors last year for a project that I was not able to start until recently. When I took the doors out I seen they were the wrong thickness. I ordered 1 1/4’’thick and got 2’’thick doors. When I tried to return them they said it was my fault because I didn’t try to install them in time. The doors were ordered wrong. I don’t see how this can be my fault. Please help me I am stuck with these doors and have no way of using them. I was planning on asking for store credit so I could order the correct doors but I was told by ht we manager there was nothing he could do to help and again stated it was my fault the doors were ordered wrong. Please help!

Lowe's Fence installation

We had our fence done too and it has been a complete nightmare and they’ve been absolutely no help. These people are crooks, they do not care but the people they hire out to do work for them is horrible. We’ve had wood sitting in our driveway from summer going into winter by the time they did the first repair from when they screwed up our initial installation. Now it’s supposed to be a second repair because the first repair they did they used that wood that sat there literally for months and months in rain and cold and is now so bad and now they’re refusing to fix it. Not to mention their delivery drivers busted all our slabs on 1/2 of the driveway where they kept dropping all the wood because they couldn’t even get that right and it sat there for so long. I have attached several photos of some of the four by fours and larger as well as a few driveway photos. I have several more if needed. I’d like to make a note that rep from support stated that the installers pictures that he took last week don’t match up to the pictures that I had taken, of course they’re not going to match up because we are two different people, I took pictures closer up of all four by fours and bigger that were damaged he only took a few pictures of a few four by fours and obviously from different angles than what I had. Lowes has refused to send anyone out to visually see damage.

Lowe's Refund never arrived.

Hello all, sometimes we all need to buy something from the company, then we pay the bill. But how good is the company to refund our money? This one is the WORST.

I overpaid my bill for $251 in March. I called 5 times already asking for my refund check.

1st call- they told me the check was sent and I need to wait. It's funny, because LOWE's credit company wants us, customers, to pay the bill on time. But when they need to pay us back, we need to WAIT.

2nd call - called to tell me that I never received the check. The representative "canceled the LOST check", and I'll receive another one.

3rd call - May 25th, my check was CASHED? I never saw a check. I requested that you send me the copy of the CASHED check with my signature on it. Under investigation.

4th call - June 10th, reported that I never received a copy of CASHED check with my signature on. They promised to send me the copy again.

5th call - July 21st, reported that I NEVER received a copy of CASHED check with my signature on. The representative promised me that I will receive my copy no later than August 4th.

Today is August 31st, I NEVER received my refund or copy of the CASHED check.

SHAME on you.

Lowe's LG gas dryer installation

Ordered and LG gas dryer to replace the 15 year old LG gas dryer Lowe's previously installed. Delivered on Friday, "installers" could not get the gas hose off. Told me to call an 855# and schedule a "technician" to come out to finish the job. Sunday 2 "technicians" took one look and said the "universal" hose installation kit did not fit the LG dryer. Went to store. They provided the adapter. Called back to 855 #, rescheduled a "technician" for Tuesday. Told the store they need 2 individuals with large pipe wrenches for the job. 1 individual with a small channel lock and small pipe wrench shows up, can't get the hose off and WHILE I AM ON THE PHONE WITH THE STORE SNEAKS BEHIND ME AND LEAVES. The store manager calls me on Wednesday, refuses to acknowledge any issue that Lowe's is willing to assist with, won't offer customer satisfaction dollars so I can hire a professional (not the delivery drivers masquerading as "technicians) and refuses to provide me with the district managers name to excalte the issue. Told me to call the 888 line instead and was very rude and dismissive and unapologetic. Lowe's obviously does not care about customer satisfaction.

Desired outcome: Lowe's to offer an amount of money to pay for an actual professional to replace the old hose.

Lowe's Maytag Dryer

I have not had a dryer since June 28, 2022. I called for service at the end of June 2022. The service people showed up on July 5, 2022. He said he would order the parts. He said he checked and supposedly the parts were in warehouse. He said he would be back in 7 to 10 days. I have called Lowes Service several times to report me not having service on my dryer. I think it is utterly ridiculous for a service dept, not to have the parts needed to service the items they sell. The last call I put in to Lowes Service was Friday, August 26, 2022, all I keep getting is they will expidite the matter. I just want my dryer fixed.

I texted the service provider on Monday, August 29, 2022 and he told me the parts should be in by 10:00am that day. I texted him that afternoon He said they were in. Supposdely he was coming today after 1-3 pm is what he had in his text. I received a message from him saying sorry, not coming. I need some answers. I will not recommend Lowes to any of my family members. It cost to dry clothes. Will Lowes reimburse me for drying clothes for 2 monthsl.

Lowe's Flooring and Instillation

Purchase flooring from Store #1681 in Pembroke Pines, Florida in May. Demetrice the flooring associate, went over and beyond to make the flooring sale. Prior to the purchase Demetrice knew about my floor's unevenness because Oscar included the information in the flooring notes and measurements, that my floors were "Out of Scope" prior to my purchase. The day of my flooring and instillation purchase, I mentioned to Demetrice will there be a problem with the instillation, and Demetrice assured me that the installers would take care of any problems.

June 10th flooring materials was dropped in my driveway. I had to contact store #1681 to have delivery people return to place flooring in my home. I was told it was front door drop-off. I wanted to know who would be bringing the floor materials into my home. I had to contacted Store #1681, the delivers returned, and flooring material was placed in my home. Flooring materials was in my home for 56 days before instillation date was scheduled. When the instillation date was finally scheduled for August 1st, I was told by Keller Interiors a supervisor would be there during the instillation because of the uneven floor areas. That did not happen.

During the 4 days of instillation, the installers realized that 26 boxes of flooring had to be returned because all the flooring was not the same, there was not enough floorboards to finish the family room, the installers did not know how to finish the stairs, my floors were leveled, releveled, sanded, and I feel the sinks, dips, lumps, and in certain areas of the floor it squeaks when you walk across the flooring.

I have finally realized what “Out of Scope” means……. that the sales associate from Lowes Store #1681 Demetrice should have just sold the flooring materials and not the instillation. During instillation Keller Interiors mentions the job was “Out of Scope.” Keller Interiors should have said “No to the job and not hired Montana Flooring to do my instillation.

It is August 30, 2022, my instillation job was closed out several weeks ago, my floors are like walking on a kiddy roller coaster, my stairs are incomplete, my family room does not have floorboards, the job was rescheduled to be finished on August 25th, received a text stating that the materials to complete the stairs were not ready. I have emailed, sent pictures, called, complained, and even visited the Store #1681 with my frustration, and nothing is being done.

I am FRUSTRATED and DISGUSTED. The same over the top customer service I received the day on my $18,437.00 purchase, should be the same customer service I receive during my instillation.

Lowe's Frigidaire Microwave

I filed a claim on July 8, 2022 for my microwave. It was not working. After 10-12 phone calls, multiple claim numbers; the end result is that I am being given a gift card for a little over half of the cost of the new microwave. I have been hung up on and been spoken to very rudely throughout this whole process. I will never purchase from Lowes again.

Desired outcome: Full price (todays price) replacement of my microwave.

Lowe's Failure to respond to my claim pending since May 3, 2022

My claim number is 4A2205M6FDZ0001. a LARGE DISPLAY STAND HIT THE SIDE OF MY CAR. I have written 2 letters, two e-mails, called10 times and left messages, one registered letter. I called again today. I was talking to Mr. Shawn Burroughs but he is no longer employed by your company. I spoke to my attorney and she requested the number of your legal department but no one seems to know how to contact them. I cannot believe that a company like Lowes would treat a customer like this. Lowe's Carpet

Ordered $4000 of carpet on June 19, 2022. Was told July 8 carpet would be installed. No call from Lowes , we called Lowes and was then informed . Promised carpet will be installed on august 26. Called Lowes on August 28 and was told carpet isn’t even produced yet. We took advantage of 12 months interest free payments. Went into Lowes to demand our order be cancelled. Was told it’s a special order and a 20% restocking fee would be applied to our account. $800 . The carpet isn’t even made and how can you charge $800 on something that doesn’t exist ? Asked for the manager. Amy told us that’s the stores policy. We had to keep order open to avoid $800 charge. Was told carpet would be made on august 28. Called today August 29 and was told carpet would be made sept 8. To top it off Loews credit card dept made us pay our monthly payment. We have paid 2 monthly installments and have no carpet. We’ve contacted main office and only get a recording. I’ll never order from Lowes again. There’s no customer service whatsoever.

Lowe's Kitchenaid French door fridge/Extended Warranty

I bought almost $9k worth of appliances on 11/22/19 at Lowe’s. Was talked into the 3 yr extended warranty on 3 of them. My French door fridge has to this date been through 4 ice makers in 2 1/2 yrs. I’ve had 8 service calls for same thing, 4 service companies. The last call, last week, I called crying to Lowe’s because I had slipped & fallen on hard tile floor - due to ice maker leaking and I didn’t see it! I’m told by each Svc tech, it’s the design of the fridge, as the ice maker is located in the fridge & not the freezer. It’s a lemon! I want my $ back! I’m hurt!

Desired outcome: It’s a lemon. I want my money back plus tax & I will buy a side by side instead. I injured my knee, ankle, and elbow in the fall.

Lowe's Delivery and installation issues.

This is in regard to Case #[protected], Order #[protected]. First, the refrigerator wasn't delivered when it was promised. Had to wait two extra days. When it was finally delivered yesterday, the installer failed to see if it was working correctly. Now we have a refrigerator but no ice or water. What does it take to get something done correctly? I want someone to come and fix this today. I can't believe this seems so difficult!

Lowe's damaged product

On June 9, 2022, i order a refrigerator online. i did not receive this refrigerator until July 2, 2022, but when the refrigerator was delivered on that day it had a damaged door. The delivery guy called the store and told them about the door, and they said that they will get the door replaced. it is August 28, and the door is not replaced yet. I have called the store many times and i get blown off every time. The last person I talked to his name was Jason. he said he would call me back and that was on 8/23/2022. if they can't replace it i want to return it. I am tired of being taken advantage of. #4140611, Model# QHE16HYPFS

Lowe's Defective stove

Ordered a stove online from Mocksville store, but the stove was delivered from the Elkin store. I plugged the stove in and it didn't work. Called the Elkin store to let them know the stove doesn't work and they needed to come back and pick it up. The delivery guys had not been gone 30 minutes. The customer service lady at the Elkin store said I had to load the stove up and bring it back to them. That's a 120 mile round trip. Called Mocksville store and they said that the Elkin store should send a truck back to pick up stove, because that was Lowes policy. Mocksville store is Currently helping me solve this issue.

Desired outcome: Defective stove picked up and a new replacement.

Lowe's refrigerator delivery

I bought a refrigerator at the augusta maine lowes on august 20, the customer rep advised me that the refrigerator had to come from the warehouse and scheduled my delivery on august 26. on august 25 i received a voicemail confirming my delivery on the 26 between 8am and 12 noon. I waited all morning for my delivery and finally. called the august lowes to find out where my delivery was. The rep didnt have an answer for me and advised me he would find out and call me back. The rep called me back a few minutes later and advised me that they hadnt received it yet. I was so angry. where is the accountability. With the delivery confirmation i stayed home and had my refrigerator removed from my house, I am so upset at your company to be misled like this. this is not acceptable service. And to top it off I am a veteran and also didnt remember to ask for a veterans discount

Desired outcome: my desired outcome would be for lowes to give me my veterans discount plus another 5 percent for unsatisfactory service

Lowe's Order # [protected]

To Whom It May Concern,

I have been shopping at Lowes for years and have spent probably tens of thousands of dollars with you. I love Lowes and have never had an issue with a product. Until now. I'm a veteran and really appreciate the way you treat us.

I recently ordered a set of two outdoor chairs and ottomans, the Item #: 5103777 |Model #: AWWC0259CC.

When I ordered them and paid almost $1900 for these chairs, I expected them to be of the highest quality, substantial outdoor furniture. When they arrived, they were not what I expected for that price. While they are nice enough; I would have never paid $1900 for these chairs. They were just okay! The assembly was difficult because the connecting holes didn't line up and were difficult to assemble and I was disappointed with the "heavy metal" frame, (not close). The frame was light weight and not what I expected at all.

I think your Vietnamese manufacturer let you down with this item. I have them assembled and on my lanai and I will keep them simply because it's a pain to take them apart and ship them back from Honolulu. It will be a long time before I make another online purchase from the Lowes Website. Very sorry for this purchase.

Lowe's trim for my cabinet to finish this project

I ordered an additional piece of trim from Lowes in Mechanicsville, Va. several months ago. I cannot get anyone there to return my calls. Left message yesterday with an assistant manager by the name of Jime who was to have the manager call me today and he did not and is already gone. I went to pick up this trim and a message center up about 2-3 months ago. They brought out the message center and no trim. They went back looking for it and could not find it. They were to call me and never did. AL in the cabinet dept., I personally went to the store sat. 8/20 and spoke with him. He pulled up the order on the computer and was going to check with Diamond Cabinets and get back to me the first of the week and of course no return calls. Seems to be normal for this store. I have spent somewhere near 40k dollars since December with Lowes and cannot get a 135.00 piece of trim to finish the project?

Lowe's Extended Warranty BS

Approximately a year & half, I purchased a GE washer. In June 20, 2022, my washer stopped working, and I had to use the extended warranty- Premier Group. On June 22, 2022, the technician guy came and stated it was the motor and he had to order a new one. On June 24, 2022, I left for military leave. On July 22, 2022, I returned home and mind you, during my time gone, no one had reached out from Premier with an update. I called to find out what the status was as Premier NEVER Communicated any updates. On August 5, 2022, the same technician returned to fix the washer. He stated, it was not the motor and did not know what was wrong. Since, then .. No word/ communication/updates from Premier since he was at my house. On August 10, 2022, I contacted Lowe's customer service to find out what was going on. Lowe's CS, advised he I had an appointment on August 15, 2022, between 8a- 5p. NO ONE SHOWED UP/CALLED TO CANCEL. I contacted Lowe's CS again to report this. Now Premier documented they did and ordered a part. I have called 3 times to Lowe's CS and spoke to a Supervisor this time as I continue to get the run around that Premier is reporting they show up and ordered parts. She would expedite the request; however, the part is on back order. NOW, the part is on back order, but Lowe's continues to wait on Premier to complete paperwork on the work they say they completed.. LIES.. They have not been to my house since August 5, 2022 and I keep getting the run around with both LOWE" S and PREMIER.. It is over 2 months with no washer... Each time I call, "the order was accelerated"... (on a back order part?)

LOWE'S REFUSES TO FIX THE PROBLEM...
