KIA Motors Maintenance service I don't know if I received

On January 10, 2023, I took my Kia Optima to the Kia of Cerritos for regular maintenance service. I noticed a nail in my tire, so I requested the nail be removed and the tire be repaired. The service advisor assured me that the technician would check everything while the car was on the rack. He then came back to tell me that there was no air seeping around where the nail was. Even though all the tires air pressure was reset, but for some reason, they did not remove the nail and did not repair the tire. They did, however, suggest that I buy four (4) new tires. I was now confused and upset that they did not repair the tire. One week later, the low tire indicater came on and I had to take my car to another tire shop to have the tire repaired. They did not try to sell me more new tires, they just honored my request to fix my tire. Now i'm wondering was anything else omitted. Did any of the other services get omitted? I can't verify it but I feel that I was taken advantaged of. My request for service was ignored, but I was still charged $220.00. I think my car was not really serviced. Why would they send me on my way knowing I had a faulty tire, which could have resulted in my being stranded somewhere?

Desired outcome: I think I need my 220.00 returned!

KIA Motors Kia Niro in workshop without repair date due to lack of part

KIA Niro with 4 months in an official workshop in Barcelona from 12-12-2022 due to automatic transmission failure. Kia Spain does not have an arrival date for the part. I can't locate an email where I can contact someone from KIA Korea who works to solve the problems of their faulty cars. From Kia Spain they do not give me a solution, I imagine that Fabrica cannot leave a KIA hanging in an elevator and disassembled for months because they cannot supply a part of their cars. It is hard to imagine that KIA does not have specialized personnel to quickly repair defects caused by using defective parts. The car has been in the workshop for 45 days and no one at KIA can work a little to give a solution to a problem of replacing a defective part.

Desired outcome: Replacement of vehicle or send defective part by urgent transport that is 3 days

KIA Motors Kia Sportage NQ5 Harman Kardon back speakers and subwoofer

In my new Kia Sportage, the sound from the Harman Kardon back speakers and subwoofer is almost inexistent. I basically bought a 3 speaker premium sound system, as the only sound and bass I get comes from the front. I bought it new from Romania, Bucharest - AUTONET dealer.
Bought the car in June 2022.
At centered sound balance, only the front 3 speakers can be heard. The back 2 + subwoofer are so low amplified, that they are like inexistent.
When moving the center of the sound to the back, so that it outputs only from the back speakers and subwoofer, there is absolutely no bass coming and very weak and low sound even at maximum volume.

Desired outcome: Fix the problem with the amplifier for the back speakers and subwoofer.

KIA Motors Defective paint

I purchased a 2017 Kia Optima in the summer of 2019. Less than a year the paint on the trunk of my vehicle began chipping after a rock from the highway hit it. Now I have almost no paint on the trunk at all. The laminated clear coat is peeling off of the bumpers and just this week I noticed the paint is beginning to chip away from the hood of the vehicle. I have suffered no damage to the vehicle of my own doing that would cause this and the paint peeling is in impossible spots for it to have been caused my another vehicle or myself.

Desired outcome: Reimbursement for a new paint job.

KIA Motors Kia Sedona Ex-2015

My Kia has been serviced by Kia the majority of the time.
The car overheated and when we took it to Kia they say we have to replace the engine and that it is going to cost us anywhere from $7,000-$15,000.
The car just went over the 100,000 mile warranty.
I owe $7,200 on that vehicle currently. I wanted this to be my forever car.
I am made aware that Kia has engine recalls but they claim that my specific engine is not included.
I believe that my engine is defective.

Desired outcome: I would like the cost of the engine replacement to be covered by Kia.I was told I could get a new Kia and the Sales departments' idea of "helping me" is marking up the price of the new vehicle $12,000 more.

KIA Motors Warranty

I have water that gets in taillight of 2022 Forte gt. Took it too dealer with moisture water in it and they said nothing they can. I contacted Kia Customer care and they did nothing. So ow I have use hair dryer get moisture out. Why can't it be fixed uder warrenty. There's no cracks nothing on it so got too be the seam glue holding it together has gaps. But then again it's Kia don't care company.

Desired outcome: Get it fixed or least Kia pay for part I can put it on. I don't trust Tameron to do it.

KIA Motors Key doesn't work property, since we bought kia seltos (pb36j1540) in nov 2019

We bought PB36J1540 from Laali motor, Paragpur, Jalandhar
We are facing issues with the keys since we bought it. In terms of numbers, its around 9-10 keys got replacement but issue still persist.
I have my daughters wedding scheduled for this month and next month but can't use my car which I bought though my hard earned money.

KIA Motors Taylor-Kia Findlay OH

We went to the KIA dealership last night to look at the KIA Carnival we test drove it and was ready to purchase it. We have 2 trades a 2015 Jeep patriot and a 2019 Ford Ranger. We were offered $11,00 for the Jeep and $29,000 for the Ranger. The sticker price on the Carnival was $40,430.00 which is what we expected the car was. When the salesperson came back to us the guy in the tower had raised the price of the Carnival to $45,0000 which was quite a shock. We would have not test driven the vehicle at that price. In order to make the deal we were told we would have to pay the difference of the $5000. This sure seems like unethical business practices. Never considered a KIA before but really liked the car. Very disappointed in the way we were treated like we would not notice what they had done. Will never recommend this dealership to anyone! In all our years of purchasing vehicles we have never had the price raised. It is the most disappointing car buying experience we have ever had. Most unethical dealership we have ever delt with. I guess KIA sticker price is just a suggestion!

KIA Motors key fob

i have a 2012 kia optma ex having a problen with the key fob went to kia mccomb ms for a recall on it for something else asked the service about it and nothing i went to a firestone dealership and asked the mech. there he told me it was the fob he gave me a copy of the recall ps426 an said the fob needs to be reprogram called kia back was told that they do not reprogram fobs that i would have to buy new ones the fob works just needs to be by push to start the guy at the service is no help do i need to buy new fobs any help would be appreciatedthank you kevin landry contact [protected]@bellsouth.net

KIA Motors 2013 Kia Optima White

I've having the same issue everyone is having with these years of Kia cars. Paint is flaking off the car for no reason (70K miles) and garage kept. I've reach out to local dealer and nothing they can do to help, reached out to corp office with no response. How is there not a recall for this issue and or a class action law suit against Kia.

If anyone has got this resolve please share how, and what department you've connected with.

KIA Motors 2018 kia optima

I bought my 2018 Kia Optima a year ago Jan 2022. About 7 months ago I found out that there is a recall on the type of engine in my car. I took it to our local KIA dealer in Bloomington IN and they did run my VIN and my car is in fact once of the Optima's with that defective motor. What made me take it in though was that it has been using oil. Way more than a 2018 vehicle with under 60,000 miles should. So, they did an oil consumption test (which I had to pay for) to see if my defective motor was in fact using oil and they found that it was, however the level was not low enough in order for warranty to cover a new motor for my vehicle. Since then my motor has started ticking when you first start it but goes away after awhile and of course its still using oil. I spent all my savings on this car I am a single mother and this is just heart breaking. I do not understand. If it has been proven by my Kia dealership that my optima has the defective motor, it is using oil and it is now making a ticking noise from the motor why I cannot just get it replaced. My fear is I will end up paying for a car with a blown motor all because KIA is making me jump through hoops to prove my engine needs replaced.

Desired outcome: I would like my defective motor replaced in my 2018 Kia Optima that is using alot of oil and making continuing ticking sounds from motor that re getting louder.

KIA Motors Engine in 2016 kia locked up

I purchased a 2016 Kia Soriento from Totoyota of Bastrop. The Vehicle has 68,000 miles on it. While driving on the interstate, the vehicle lost power and the engine locked up. The vehicle was not low on any oils or fluids. There are several bulletins regarding the recall on this particular vehicle that has an engine default. I can't find a dealership that is aware of willing to research how to be reimbursed to replace the engine.

Desired outcome: I would like for Kia to replace the engine at no cost to me, as there is a recall on the engines_ My vin # is 5XYPG4A35GG121590

KIA Motors Engine issues

Purchased Sorento 2016, have had engine issues and this has gotten worst. The car has stopped running again. The last te it stalled they said it was due to spark plugs, this was about 4 months ago. Dealers cannot take the car, they are overwhelmed. Not only that they cannot tell me when the car will be seen and they do not provide a loaner while my car is at the shop.

My car is under warranty.

KIA Motors Kia sonet 2023 in qatar

Good morning.

Hope this email finds you well.

I am sending this email today after trying to find a solution to my problem with all possible ways here in Qatar.

I bought a brand new 2023 Kia Sonet on [protected] from Kia showroom in Qatar, than on 26-10-2022 I had an accident due brake malfunction, due to that accident was admitted in the hospital from three weeks.

The car was taken to KIA service shop by KIA for the repair. During that time I’ve contacted Mr. Nader from the service shop to ask about my car in which he confirmed that main reason of the accident was the brakes. here I inquired if the car is going to be replaced or fixed! and if it is safe to drive again, I which he confirmed that it will be fixed and safe.

Here I would like to mention that I contacted Mr. Hosam the sales manger I told him about what happened but he was extremely rude and unprofessional.

On Monday 19-12-2022 we received the car and four weeks later out of nothing the car started giving false indicators on the dash board I, e : showing (low brake fluid) and the hand brake sign was on even though that it was down, the rear sensors works and stops. and it was heavenly driven as if the brake is on.

So I contacted Mr. Nader from the service shop and he arranged taking the car.

On the following day Mr. Nader contacted me to pick up the car whoever I asked him to provide with all the repair reports, and to clarify what was wrong with my car.

He refused to give any reports, and he was totally unprofessional in dealing with me

Following day I went to pick up the car after he promised to provide the requested reports during the handover. Than and in KIA service shop I asked for the requested reports and explanations about the car condition before and after the repair. He shouted at me, and insulted me and left the office without giving any answers, I followed him and addressed that his behavior isn’t acceptable and requested his super visor in which he rudely replied if you the manger go and find him you self.

Then he instead me to road test the car, and I found a bump on the write of the car. when I called him to see it he rudely aggressively said take the car or leave it that is not his problem any more.

And he in instead me to go and find his manger ASP. and he also said that it’s not a big deal and the bump cause my them can be fixed any time and left the location.

After all mentioned I had to go home without any idea of what’s going to be next!

I am kindly requesting to look in my case and assist me with any possible way. and to please find me a solution

KIA Motors Gunther Kia service

I had a confirmed appointment for Fri. Jan 13th at 7:30 M with Gunther Kia at 1660 S SR 7 Ft. Lauderdale FL 33317. I DROPPED OFF THE CAR OVER NIGHT to save time. They never got the vehicle into the shop until after 3:00 pm that day and now today, Sat. 14th they were finally able to triage and call my extended warranty company who can only give a 2 day rental until the replacement part gets there maybe this coming Tuesday if at all. They just don't seem to care. My family and I have been getting our cars from this dealership for several years now which does not matter. I want some action and guarantee for the inconvenience of having to borrow someone else car. I have called at least 7 times and even left a message withe a Service Mgr by the name of Jeff. No responses at the time of writing this.

KIA Motors lemon car/ customer service at kia dealership

I purchased a kia optima on 6-21-21. one year later the car started using oil lik crazy. took to kia dealership in cape girardeau, mo. Spent $3300 on repair bill.

had to take back 7-15-22, another $337.24 on melted fuse. Then in December 2022 car started shaking, took back to kia dealership, they stated it needed a new motor and would be $8400. I can not understand for the life of me how I spent $15,000 on a car and drove for approx 1 year and now it is out of commision. I had to even pay $134 for them to ell me that before I could take the car. The service manager of the Cape Girardeau, MO dealership was nothing but rude since day 1. I have never had this kind of problems with a vehicle or dealership for repairs

KIA Motors Audio head unit warranty, my local dealer is not giving assistance.

I have a low mileage KIA Rio, new Kia Rio EX Pack 1.4P 4AT Yr 18, VIN KNADC514MH6085126. I have noticed a black spot on the head unit display, which prevent the full display. The dealer is saying that this is not covered under Warranty. I cannot understand why as this seem to be a common issue with KIA, and even the dealer do recognise this issue.

What is to be done ?

KIA Motors My kia sportage car engine failure before xmas car not looked at

I bought my car 3 years ago wish I never did but I did?
Since I had the car I have had so many things go wrong with it windows sticking excuse they cant find problem still squeaking and sticking

Very noisy everyone noticed for new car bad noises they couldn't find problem then engine oil light kept coming up I called no problem was the answer by the service manager it is due for service and most in Jan 2023 2 year plan paint peeling off car not their problem I got

Dec 2022 I was going along dual carriageway I had called the garage again to say engine oil wont go off and they said it was okay approx 2 hrs later along the dual carriageway a bang smoke pouring out car stopped people came across and told me to get out of the car I was cold shaking frightened and called the roadside recovery he told me not to touch anything 2 hrs later they towed the car to the Brindly Kia garage in great bridge that was 2 weeks before Xmas I got a car sorted through enterprise and no, more communication from the garage I left it till after Xmas and went over they are not looking at the car until the 19th Jan and then will make a report 7-year warranty all these problems they don't know what is wrong only they think the engine is no good or it can be repaired

I would like your views as I am taking this further I got in touch with the ombudsman but we need the report on the car before we go any further
They said new car or new engine or repair they are not sure so many problems it would be cheaper to change the car with so many issues and I have been asked to call them on the 20th in case they don't call me back customer service and bad all round for Kia

KIA Motors Repair service

Yesterday, I Clark Staton, contacted you regarding my vehicle that has been at Southern Kia Greenbriar in Va. Beach Va 4 months. The service contact is Josh Standard and he promised me my car would be ready yesterday. He "stated" that it started and only needed the key fob programmed. The issue I have with that statement is... how did he start the car without the key being programmed? When I didn't hear from him yesterday, I contacted you and our local investigative news channel. I contacted Josh today to informed him that I had contacted you and the news channel. Of course, I received a call from him today, rare. During that call he "stated" the battery needed replacement. The issue I have with that "statement" is... how did he get the vehicle started yesterday with a dead battery? The word "stated" is in quotes because I'm not going to say he lied. However, we made it known to him that he seems to be "shady" and we are not happy. I will be contacting you every day to let you know if he has or has not contacted me.

Desired outcome: I want my vehicle back this week, fully repaired.

KIA Motors 2011 kia optima sx

As you know, there was a manufacturing issue with the 2011 2.0 engines where there were materials left in the engine and the oil passages were not sufficiently bored out to ensure appropriate flow. I brought my car in to have it checked and supposedly I had no bearing issues, however; now I have an issue with my hydraulic timing chain tensioner not keeping appropriate tension on the chain at startup, causing a significant rattle and potential damage to the motor. I called two of my local kia dealers (Ft. Bend Kia and Archer Kia) both in the Houston area and both just told me there was nothing they would do other than me paying for the repairs completely. I left my car with Ft. Bend Kia and they couldn't even diagnose it correctly, they never identified the issue. I took it to an independent mechanic to diagnose the problem. I am a loyal Kia/Hyundai customer, this Kia is my 5th Hyundai/Kia in the family and I have added two more since then (I have quite a few children).

Desired outcome: I am looking for some satisfaction regarding a repair. I believe this issue is tied to the manufacturing problems, but I'm even willing to pay for a portion of the repair, but the local dealers have been terrible to work with.
