Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) review: Complaint regarding repeated engine warning light issue – honda shine 125 disc

Vehicle Details:
Honda Shine 125cc
Purchased on: 10-12-2025
Dealer: M/s Wallia Honda, Paramakudi, Ramanathapuram District

Issue Faced:
The engine warning light has been appearing repeatedly from the beginning, even after multiple service visits.

Service History:
• Bike visited the service center around five times for the same issue.
• Every time, the warning light was reset, but it reappeared after approximately 30 km of riding.
• The bike was also sent to Ramanathapuram for inspection and sensor error rectification.

O2 Sensor Replacement:
• The service team identified an issue with the O2 sensor.
• The O2 sensor was replaced on 16-05-2026.
• However, the warning light appeared again on 17-05-2026.

Current Status:
• Wiring connections were checked and found normal.
• Even after resetting the warning indication again, the engine warning light reappeared within 15 km of travel.
• The issue is still persisting.

Request:
Kindly arrange a complete technical inspection and provide a permanent resolution at the earliest, as we are highly disappointed with the repeated issue in a new vehicle.
