I received a collection letter about a past bill. I contacted Directv and was told they waived the amount owed. Now the collection agency reported to the credit bureau that it was not taken care of and dropped my credit score by 29 points. I tried to reach out to Directv to fix the problem that I was told was “taken care of.” I cannot reach anyone and no one will call me back. Directv is the biggest waste of time, money and energy I have ever spent. Avoid them at all costs!
