I purchased an espresso machine from Coffee Friend (Kavos Draugas UAB, Lithuania). Within one year, the machine developed a steam nozzle leak under warranty. During the first repair, their service center completely destroyed my original secure packaging. For the second repair, they demand I return the machine but refuse to provide adequate replacement packaging. They explicitly stated in writing that any transport damage would be my financial responsibility — an illegal clause under EU consumer law. They also refuse to put in writing that I will receive a brand-new replacement unit. The European Consumer Centre (ECC) is now handling my case for a full refund of $675. Avoid this company.
