Christian Brothers Moving and Storage review: 3rd time I’ve used them and not again

My husband and I did a short distance move (0.3 mile). It cost about $1,800. The guys left 3 car loads of stuff in the basement. They left before we could check. Then, moving in they damaged a door in our new build. I understand we signed a contract and it states they will pay $200 in damages. Damages- something that unforeseeable breaks or gets dinged. Here’s what happened. The guys were moving an oversized bean bag downstairs. As they were shoving it down the stairway they were banging the basement door and the front door together. My husband yelling, “Whoa!” They continue on and puncture a hole in the door. Christian Brothers would not answer for a month and when they did it took another month for them to say- kick rocks, we’re only giving you $200. The door cost $525. Beware- they will be completely negligent with your belongings and they don’t care.
