I received a paper packet of information in the mail about the Membership Perks program which charges $14.95/month to be charged on my Credit Card I used for a previous purchase. The packet came with instructions on how to CANCEL the membership within 30 days of the purchase — HOWEVER, the telephone #s provided for Cancellation have a recording, "having technical difficulties" or other tel#s have a computer prompt to select your purpose and no one ever comes to the phone. I've dialed and held on for hours, and called at all hours of the day and night with the same lack of response. Their main website is now "Blocked." I have tried emailing them (carolwrightperks.com; [protected]@carolwrightperks.com; and [protected]@carolwright. zendesk.com) per their Instruction packet and the response is "permanent failure." I have already seen identical complaints on the Better Business Bureau website and I understand now that Carol Wright has filed Bankruptcy. Do they have legal right to continue to charge my Credit Card without my having any recourse? Please advise. Let me know if you need additional information. THANK-YOU! You can respond to: [protected]@comcast.net
Desired outcome: An email from the Company that acknowledges they will not be charging my credit card ending in _ _ _ _ any further and my purchase delivery charge rebate of $8.99 will be returned to me by check within 2 weeks.
