Tonight my husband and I choose a late lunch at the local Olive Gardden. We missed the lunch specials by 30 mins but decided to have a light lunch before dinner. We were seated and finally greeted by server. Ordered only soup and salad and bread sticks. Salad came warm, limp and dripping in dressing. Bread sticks were dried and half of a whole bread stick was crushed like they were reheated as left overs from some one else’s lunch. Soup at best was luke warm. Being we were starving we only ate a small amount of salad. Told waiter the issue and he replaced the salad with fresh. Still not crunchy and now there is barely any dressings on the salad. Requested a fresh hot bowl is soup, which he did replace and hot. My complaint is why we’re we even served a meal was was someone else’s left overs? I know food is high and we all are trying to get the max for our food budget. But I felt that we were only served this rotten garbage due to costs. I live a mile from the closet Olive Garden, always had great food. Not sure if it was this server or has the restaurant gone to lengths to use all food? Even the left over food from another guest. It will be a long time before I return back to this restaurant who serves it guests second rate food and charges a good menu price. Betty Arrowood
