On Dec. 11, 2021, I was online looking for a one night hotel stay in Brentwood CA to attend a family funeral. I called the number on the menu of the screen of the hotel without noticing that it was a third party. The person who answered never let me know they were not with the hampton Inn. I specifically told them I needed TWO rooms; one King size bed rooms but that they HAD to be adjoining rooms; as I'm caring for my elderly mother. They booked me two rooms one for me and my husband in my name and one for my mom in her name. They told me the rate was $180 and at some point with all the small print I knew there is always tax and fees but I was not aware of the exorbitant fees. When I finally stopped to look at the emailed reservation that spelled out the details I realized the for my $360 room total I was charged $143.04 in other charges. I called Get a room on Dec. 14 and was told it was too late to cancel. They were rude and just did not care. I became suspicious and called the hotel directly to confirm my reservation. I did have a reservation, BUT the rooms were on different floors and NOT adjoining as I said was a MUST for my reservation. The Hotel also said that the rooms were not King sz bed rooms as spelled out in my reservation email. This company lied to me and did not provide me with the adjoining rooms or King beds as I very clearly told them I had to have, they broke our contract. I want a full refund. I have now spent hours on the phone and emailing to try to correct this problem. Escalation ticket 5773182

Desired outcome: At the very least they must refund the fees.
